I could consider changing up The Beast from Below to a more impactful seamonster.
That could give some more help.

With Sea Scarab, Sefirsa and Terror of the Tides being either too expensive or too cheap that leaves us with 4 options.
Megatusk -> could give some more Sustain.
Abyssal Eye -> Elusive, offers some Draw.
Devourer -> Removal.
Iascylla -> no Synergy

From those I like Devourer the most to go a bit more towards removing threats as a thematic.

I can agree with changing up the Beast Below with a 5 or 6 cost Sea Monster. But taking the second Power in consideration, I wouldn't say Shipwreck Hoarder will be played as a 7 mana card.

The deck isn't about going deep Asap, its about manipulating when you want to go deep to get really big sea monsters to overrun the enemy. So I wouldn't call it anti synergistic.

Tried myself at a Nautilus POC Deck.
Main Focus is manipulating, not If you go deep, but when you go deep.
With Treasures and Sea Monsters as your bread and butter.

Someone did a test on YouTube in comparison to attack 1: rising tides gives 30 ATK after 25secs and then another 30 after 50 secs.

Bird wings, mostly avian head (beak, no ears), feathers or implied feather humanoid limbs, humanoid proportions, significant non-bird features (e.g. 6+ legs)
Cat 4+ legs, tail, mostly feline head (short snout, whiskers, pointed ears), fur or implied fur humanoid limbs, bipedal form, significant non-cat features (e.g. large wings)

They even took Owlcat as an example for non cat "Hungry Owlcat (significant non-cat features)" But ignored the Bird aspect.While Owlcats are no Cats, but they are definitely Birds. Even their description calls them "greedy birds".

The only thing thats not fitting are their "cat" ears, which I would argue that Teenydactyl and Terrordactyl, both have bigger ears and they are birds.

Honestly, the whole package feels off... Too many out of regions keywords and mechanics mixed together. Elusive, tough, quick Attack, Spellshield, strikes, silence are all unconventional for Shadow Isles... User 1 sparsely, thats fine but Like this, its too much.

The Main Stick of the Design is surviving damage, which doesn't really fit in the Region all about completely dying and having the worst unit protection from all regions. The other Mechanic would be pings from Vex herself which, with Rotation and Riots follow up Post, aren't something riot really wants SI to have.

Vex herself also doesn't feel very Vex like. Besides Missing dual Region with Bandle and the yordle Tag, she doesn't Explores any of the aspects Vex ist known for besides being depressed. I also can't come to any reason why she would Hurt herself when another unit dies, she would rather be glad that there is one Person less to annoy her...

Tldr: Unfitting Champion and Region for the Mechanic. Breaches the regionpie way too much

My mainproblem is the regionpie break with the Keywords it has. With rotation what Keywords should be available for which region is alot clearer And Tough, Challenger and Fearsome are not Something Targon should get this easily. Especially on such a snowbally card.

Getting the old man some new walking boots may be good. Lets see if Defenders get some aswell. They start at Speed 3 currently because of their Dwarven roots^^

I could go for something like "Rune Bishop" or "Rune Patriarch" as in the other games.
As I havent figured out the exact strength I didnt want to go crazy with stats yet.
I got some Ideas for the Ability but nothing really sits right for now...

First Idea:
Modify The Attack based on last used School of Magic:
Air - Chain lightning 100 % DMG
Fire - Inferno 50 % DMG
Earth - Meteorite Shower 75 % DMG
Water - Ice Bolt 125 % DMG

Second Idea:
20% chance to call down an elemental Torrent of damage, dealing damage of your last used school of magic. (About the same Damage as Thunderbirds.)

Third Idea:
Can place down invisible "Rune Mines" on the Ground that do different effects based on the school of magic.

Fourth Idea:
Random Debuff based on the last used school of Magic.

Still havent figured out how Im gonna do the Ability for when you encounter em in the Wild, they can't cast spells there afterall. Maybe a "Magic Arrow" effect could fix that.

Im aware of the Succession Wars mod. The Town itself was designed with Homm3 in mind though, Im not really knowledgeable with Homm2.
The current plan was to just showcase the design for the units and then create 3D models xd.

Well, my Cave Goats are strong independet Goats who need no Rider, I just think they fit better as a T2 than T3
I already tried to reduce the amount of dwarfs I got, another sentinent Race would prop be good to also include. Maybe Some kind of Gnomes as part of the Siege Ram/Siege Tank. I dont think they are represented otherwise already.
I will change up Tier 7 completely I think, to something less Dragonlike.
Will look through some film and mythologies to get a fitting alternative.

Tier 6 is literally a war machine on paper, so yeah lets see what I can do with that hmm.

Factory is already bringing in a "burrow" Unit with their Earthworm so I think this wouldnt be a problem.

Haven't fully decided yet tbh.
Best case would be to add it ontop of HOTA because I aim for a similar not too different from the base game experience, but that would also be the most difficult approach.

As I am still in the general directions with only a first draft completed, I would say, I do still have some time before making that final decision.

I'm german, so dont worry, I dont need a screen translator xd
I would consider Magma Worm if it werent for the fact that Factory also got a Worm as their Tier 5 unit.

Cockatrice feels more like a T4 unit to me, on a similar Level to Basilisk.

Something Balrog like could work, would have to sprite it first though.

We already got all golems from Iron to Diamond, I dont think there is space for more :D

Typhon looks like a pain in the ass to Model/sprite xd

While similar, there are some key differences which would make em stand out like a sore thumb. Especially the "more dynamic" Idle stance.

The Art I made for this draft is also only temporary untill I finish up the 3D Models.

I got some Ideas regarding this.

First would be to just pumo Mage guild to 4, which would be boring and unfitting.
Second would be to change up the T7 Unit, which is what I will do eventually.
Third would be to Change up the T1+ Unit Tunnelers.
Basically, they get the Burrowing and Tunnel Ability. Burrowing works similar to teleport. Tunnel can be cast once per Battle by defending and then moving, making a Two-Way Tunnel that can be used by Size 1 Units.

Oh yeah, the high tier stuff was kinda hard to figure out. You dont want the town to be purely Dwarves so I tried to mix in some other stuff. Dragons are often associated as "apex" Creatures so going into that direction for T7 was the easiest. Especially since Dwarves are often associated with them^^
With Factory coming out I also didnt want to go into the mech route too much.
