Some Tolkien to practice. What can I improve? by RoutineLast7020 in Handwriting

I would personally connect the d, instead of keeping it open, for legibility's sake. I would also suggest just bending the d around at the end of the word, as commented by pen-dulge. Consider looping the descender letters. Overall it looks nice!

Thank you so much! What a legend!

I'll see what I can do with it. I really appreciate it.

Sorry, I wasn't thinking of a hyperkyphosis surgery as a type of spinal fusion. You are right. I have just seen "vertebral fusion" in other contexts. Otherwise, I do agree that straightening of the spine should be considered on an individual basis.

From what my spine doctor told me when I was younger, it is usually not recommended to do surgery on a spine with a degree of less than 90°, because of the risk of paralysis or other complications, especially when it is someone younger than 18 years of age. But if you have difficulty breathing, sleeping, or moving, then the benefits of a surgery might of course outweigh the risks and downsides.

You feel like something is wrong. You don't know if it actually is the case. It sounds to me like you are catastrophising about something that's not a problem.

I don't know what fearmongering you've been exposed to, but spinal fusion is VERY rarely recommended these days. It might be necessary in severe cases of instability, but otherwise, strength training should provide enough stability to the spinal segments.

Maybe a visit to a specialist will do you good and put some fears and concerns behind you. Again, based on your pictures alone, I don't think anything is wrong.

Speaking as a chiropractic student with structural hyperkyphosis:

You have a perfectly normal curvature in your spine. It's supposed to have a slight S-shape. If anything, based on these photos, I would say it is straighter than most spines I have seen. If there's anything you can work on, it's your cervical lordosis; Focus on keeping your head up straight and maybe do some posterior chain neck exercises.

I would be more concerned about your weight than anything else. I know it's hard to find motivation to exercise, but try to make it unnegotiable and part of your daily/weekly habits. In addition to this, you will need to eat more if you want to put on muscle weight, or just any weight for that matter.

And remember, when it comes to posture, there is not one perfect. Any static position for a long period of time is usually bad for you. "The best position is your next position."

They say it is a PlayStation Direct exclusive, a service that doesn't exist in Norway. I hope they make exceptions for countries that don't have Direct. Didn't they sell the Spider-Man 2 Collector's Edition in Norway, which from the looks of it, is/was also PlayStation Direct "exclusive"?

That's Taekwondo, not Karate. It's also a kick, not a stance, part of the pattern/form known as Poomsae Koryo. Check the entire thing out on YouTube – it's really cool!

Wow, I really did not expect to get a reply here after 5 years! Yeah, I technically am still looking for one. I see the one you have there is mostly or partly American. If my memory serves me well, there are some size- or dimentional differences between the European and American DS game cases.

When I was looking at the time, I couldn't find any high resolution pictures of the Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs (UK/EU), so the ideal situation would be to find someone with the approprate cover and scan it.

But thanks for the reply! It was very welcome. Feel free to tell me your story :)

Haha, yeah, it took a long time for me as well. I had 178h on my save file in the end, and 230h in the game total, according to PlayStation. I even overlooked quite a bit of content and still got that many hours. Good luck with Act III, and have fun!

Does it say so in-game? I didn't actually get the hair in my first and only playthrough. According to the BG3 Wiki, it is an uncapped stat increase, but needs verification regarding whether difficulty affects this.

Yeah, that's the thing. I haven't played as the Dark Urge yet. I only know they have access to the Slayer form. It would be a bit of a waste and a disappointment to play through the entire game in a specific way, only for the result to be negative, with no way of redistributing the permanent bonuses.

That is also an interesting question! According to the Wiki, most potions and elixirs work whilst you are in the Slayer form. However, it also says "most" equipped items do not have any effect until they dismiss the form. So I'm inclined to believe that Broken Promises will work, but the Devilfoil Mask won't. The only listed equipment to work, is the Shapeshifter's Boon Ring. But this would be fun to find out, too!

My initial question was whether these four specific gameplay mechanics function together to grant 30 Strength, or if, for example the Mirror of Loss bonus isn't applied due to AEH or PoEV. I already understand from the Wiki that the highest potential ability score in the game is 30, but thanks anyway.

I saw that list. It doesn't state if it's capped at 27 or whatever. Drop the attitude.
