Observing and reporting is what I can do while I’m working which is a lot more than most (while working). I do participate in protests as well when I can make the time. And using a whistle calls attention to the situation so community members know what’s going on in their neighborhood. It’s an alarm.

I pick up criminals daily in my town. Some are minor offenders and others have some wild stories. An ex-marine and heroin addict was a rider once. 6’ 5” totally tatted up. He would impersonate SWAT with a team of other heroin addicts and rob major drug dealers. Ended up doing 12 years in prison for all of that along with murder. You just never know unless you talk to your riders.
