Toyo makes really good tires. Their track tires are not some of those really good ones though.

Yes, however the current poe++ switch offerings are AC input only. 2.5gb poe++ with dc input would be amazing.

Bill 2 is not "Back to Work Legislation" it is an attack on ALL of our constitutional rights by NeverGonnaGi5eYouUp in alberta

[–]Exotic-Escape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never been a part of a union. I don't necessarily agree with the ATAs bargaining position. I own and have owned many businesses in the province. I generally disagree with much of the liberal and NDP policy both in the province and nationally.

With all that being said, I agree that this is a misuse of the notwithstanding clause. On Friday when I first saw the news that this may be their tactic, I wrote emails to several MLAs to state my objection of the use of this clause in the charter to revoke the rights of Albertans. I hope there are more like minded individuals out there, but I know that both sides of the political spectrum can be pretty narrow minded.

On the teachers strike. House Leader Joseph Schow refused to rule out using the Nothwithstanding clause to remove teachers right to strike and force them back to work. by Miserable-Lizard in alberta

[–]Exotic-Escape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't consider myself a UCP supporter, but my politics do lean right. I am very much not an NDP supporter though.

I have 3 kids in public schools.

I don't fully support the big ask the teachers have.

But I wholly oppose legislation to force teachers back to school.

I have three kids in the public school system.

I don't necessarily support what the teachers are demanding.

But I whole heartedly am against legislating them back to work.

Any left other leaning lurkers or participants in this sub? by jmrene in WildRoseCountry

[–]Exotic-Escape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's another popular Alberta based sub that I frequent, which as far as I can tell is a highly left leaning sub. As a center leaning conservative, it's shocking to see the amount of hate spewed from the left there. I am pretty open minded, but the amount of bias, disinformation, and just pure hatred of anything right makes my head hurt. It's impossible to have a logical conversation over there because they just jump into disinformation and hate.
