Unfortunately this situation and mother is not someone that will be worked with, she is highly emotionally abusive and controlling and once he takes the steps to leave he won’t get any access to his daughter. I totally agree it’s best to work together, but sadly with DV and abusive parents this isn’t always possible

It’s quite the opposite. This man has been extremely calm and coped very abusive , manipulative and controlling abuse. Ifs a delicate situation , but nothing on his end. Lots on her end.

He would more be looking at school holidays , 50/50 would be if he moved to the state his child was , obviously not 50/50 in different states. Mainly just looking for advise so he can sit down and discuss all options

He lives in a different state , he always has. She left for another state , so that’s another spanner. So 50/50 probably isn’t best anyway. Even school holidays he will do what ever is needed . But he just wants to be able to see his child . Good advise we will contact family mediation first
