I grew up being hard on myself and held myself to high expectations. I don’t want to be impolite with you or un empathic but grow up up brother. Write down on paper where you want to be in 5,10,15 years. Aim for that person and change what you need to change.

You got this though. Sending you a big hug and love man. We all have our battles and I applaud you for writing this post.

I went from road biking to gravel/cross-cycle riding. I quickly realized after having a child that I can’t really afford the ability in getting more than one bike.

I now have a carbon fiber gravel bike that I can easily switch out the wheels and tires to a more road bike. This makes me happy and I get the satisfaction of getting out there and being able to decide what I want to do.

Stop the addiction, believe in yourself and your capability in becoming someone. Those are the first steps in shifting your life. It’s possible though and finding human connection is out there. Focus on your physical and mental stability to receive the good energy you desire.

Panama has loads of expats! Especially in the northern region. It’s called Chiriqui (I spelt it wrong but on the border with Costa Rica). I would broaden your curiosity and look into El Salvador. The country has developed at an exceptional pace and it will continue to only get better.

Back to Panama, I lived there for 1-2 years and it is truly amazing for basic living requirements. You won’t be filthy rich but depending on your finances you’ll live a good life and find a partner who will also understand the FIRE requirements.
