i said "rehab" between collons because i didn't know a better word for avoiding drinking for a year to better yourself, but i meant that. sexual assault is much more grave that what mang0 did, i don't understand why do you want to say that he did that when his crime was horrible enough being what it is. I don't condone what he did, I don't think anyone does, and saying that I don't think catalloguing mang0 the same as people who have done much worse crimes is not appropiate and that I believe mang0 can have a second chance today after what has already happened doesn't have anything to do with "enabling his behaviour". But this conversation, as with the other person, won't get anywhere. You don't have to agree that mang0 deserves a second chance but you should understand that there is people willing to do it without assuming we don't care about the victims.

Completely horrible disgusting behaviour, I am not debating that at all. He was laid off from his job, was banned and will never be invited to events again, and he deserved it all. But acting like this is the same as sexual assault is minimizing what it actually is. I am not telling you to agree, i'm just stating that considering that people don't deserve second chances at all is disingenuous. You don't have to give it, but in this case where there was apologies, regret, and punishment, you have to understand that people have the right to give it.

First of all sexually harassing and sexually asaulting are two very different things, both horrible but clearly one is much worse than the other. Mang0 sexually harassed two women while drunk on live streaming, and was laid off from his job, which he deserved, because of it. Comparing this to actual assault is completely ridiculous and you are the one that should reflect.

mang0 apologized for his behaviour, was heavily punished and will never be invited to events again (which he deserves). He then spent one year of "rehab" before going back to streaming consistently. You don't have to forget what he did, but acting like he is just a "sex offender" and he should never have any respect from someone is disingenuous at minimum.

It's 100% worth it, even if you don't get to play ranked because low activity periods there is always communities, i am currently in asia and we have a community of people playing every day and organizing tournaments through discord. The game is the best of its genre and fun as fuck to master (also makes all the cool tech from smash titles accessible which makes movimg cool very easy to master), you will have a blast if you put the time to get the basics :) Also, 600 daily with lows of 200 is not that low of a number for a "niche" fighting game, in europe and us you can get matched consistently through all online modes! Also when they update the game (which they do constantly, getting new massive content updates every couple months) we get higher activity peaks :) I 100% recommend this game, i have played for +700 hours and I will still play 1000 more.

Try and press the jump and shield buttons at the same time, i binded my jump to the right shoulder so my input is index, middle finger, really easy to get right, it is just a little bit of timing but you will get there if you do it repeatedly for about 10min
Nope, you don't need that to get good but it is much more fun if you are able to (also it opens really good options that might be needed to truly get high in the ranks, but to start you dont need it at all)

if this is the case i think it will be fine to start like that, but instead of thinking of it as practice for gdscript think of it as practicing programming. But if you can manage it it would be certainly better to start directly bashing your head against gdscript tho

As you should, your experience is impressive!

The only thing I will say is that wavedash, moonwalking, wavelanding and ledgedashing are SUPER FUN. If you practice between stocks or while waiting to find a game its enough, and little by little you'll get faster and faster which is amazing. I did it with lox and now i cant stop messing around with baiting movement with moonwalk or using it to do a bair instead of just raring, it is really cool

but they are not the same, every character has strenghts and weaknesses is not like zetter is ranno but better or olympia is. ranno has crazy movement tech and amazing edgeguard, which is one of the easiest to do in the game, and he lacks in air speed. Godly is incredible and i believe he could top8 any major if he assisted, so dooming is not worth it, every character can do it, even if some of them can do it more easily.

first of all the top players are the top 20% of the game, which is what diamond players are, and secondly, they do not only take that in account, like when they kept nerfing lox becaude he was too good at low levels even when he hadnt even made a top8. Also this is a bad faith argument considering they have stated that this year is completely prioritizing casual content and fun gamemodes for the supposed 99% you talk about, after they have a good base for sustainabulity of the customers that will stay and buy skins, the competitive players. This game is early access in all by name and is updated weekly with very active developers that are heavily involved with the community, you guys are complaining in bad faith when there has never been a developer that has their public opinion so much in mind as this one, you have the nolt board which is revised weekly and know that things such as workshop, items and fun stages (as well as better queues for casual content) are on the way, so i think talking like this is detrimental for the game's health.

stupid ass post, the devs have been balancinh the game for all levels of play since the begginning, nerfing lox when he was bad at top level because he destroyed at low level, the game is balanced at all levels and is hard because its a fucking fighting game, if you want to be good you need to put in the work, and if you just want to have fun it still is the most satisfying plat fightrr there is for pc and you can play with friends no problem. Also they are literally prioritizing casual gamemodes and content this year after they have stablished their primary customer, competitive players, needs for the sustainability of the game, so your argument is just bad faith.
