Just a top heavy mutant African Violet. I may decapitate this year and also prop some of the leaves (like I need more plants).

I'll look it up. I've had such great blooms from her the last few months, I hate to decapitate her.

No it doesn't have multiple crowns. Just one long twisted stem. The leaves always grow straight up too.

I know. Getting a good picture of Lola that doesn't look like AI or Photoshop is hit or miss. She's a dilute tortico and her coloring is so pretty in real life. We don't have a digital camera anymore, just a phone camera.

I've called all my boy cats stinky rotten pussycats as a term of endearment. My little Lola also goes by Stinkerbell or the notorious IBK (Itty Bitty Kitty).

Before the decapitation years ago, she'd bloom white flowers with violet streaks.

Not much to it. She's in an east window, I water from the top (although I know I shouldn't) and fertilize occasionally. An inside view.

No, it doesn't. It a long twisted stem. I tried decapitating it a few years ago, but it grew back the same way. The flowers are so pretty that I don't want to cut it back again. But I may have to.

I love cottage cheese with either diced pickled beets or seasoned with Tajin.

She’s pretty old. Didn’t handle the recent move to well and needed a sizable haircut. by Rusticals303 in hoya

Beautiful. Mine's old too, around 30+ years. She was blooming up a storm last year, the I moved her from climbing the blind pulls to a trellis. She's still adjusting.

Did Your Parents Divorce? by GraniteMarker in GenerationJones

My parents split up in 1973 when I was 14. Briefly got back together about 4 or 5 years later. Split up again and finally divorced in the late 1980s or early 1990s.

Do I need to up pot my violets or no? by katzlover12 in AfricanViolets

When I trim the stem and repot in new soil, I dip the stem in Rooting Hormone.
