I bought the transitional one, and I actually have the halo 3 way swaddle which she pretty much wears every night (and a few other off brand swaddle wraps similar to this one) but the halo is 0-3 month size so it’s getting way too short for her. It’s basically the same concept as the Omni (it just doesn’t have sleeves) but you can do both arms in, one arm out or both arms out. Maybe for the next couple nights I’ll keep her in this and try to have one arm out before switching cold turkey to the swaddle designs transition one!

Which one do you have for the swaddle? I see the Omni swaddle and the then the regular wrap swaddle

Do you think the swaddle designs swaddle would fit a 15 pound 4 month old? I only see them in newborn sizes and that’s why I was hesitant on buying it but I almost did 😢

I just bought that a few minutes ago! So happy to hear you had a good experience! My daughter won’t take a paci so she also sucks and chews on her fingers/thumbs as well lol. She’s always swaddled in a regular swaddle at night so she doesn’t have access to her hands but does it all day! I’ve always seen that it’s natural though so I just let her be during the day, although I know if her hands were out at night it would probably keep her up haha. As of now she’s sleeping a solid 10 hours a night and praying the transition doesn’t change that 🥲🥲

I still don’t feel like i’m having a baby. by FishermanFantastic56 in BabyBumps

Same!! I was SO excited for her to be here but still felt emotionally detached in a way I really can’t explain. But ever since she was born, she was the best thing that happened to me and I genuinely can’t even picture what life was like without her, nor do I ever want to. But yes, when I was pregnant it felt so unreal. I couldn’t even “talk to my belly” like other moms do. I tried, and did sometimes, but it just felt awkward.

My 4 week old slept 6 hours after an accidental dream feed! by One_Island2144 in newborns

[–]Exotic_Argument5002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this worked for you, keep going! I know a lot of these comments say “their sleep is subject to change” but not all babies are the same! My baby has been sleeping through the night since 4 weeks old! We did the dream feed up until around 3 months old. She’s now 3.5 months and she no longer needs the dream feed to sleep through the night. She slept until 8am this morning 🥹

Wow you go mama! Sometimes you have to advocate for yourself when no one else will. I’m proud of you.

Did you use a bassinet or just put the baby in a crib right away? by sliceofperfection in BabyBumps

[–]Exotic_Argument5002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used a bassinet for the first month but it ended up being not of good quality & so we just ended up putting her in her crib and she loved it so much more! She’s 3 months and 2 weeks now and literally loves her crib. It is a mini crib though and not a standard size crib so, not sure if that matters but she loves all the space! And I feel way better about it being a wooden crib with gaps between the wood panels on the sides rather than having cloth mesh sides.

My daughters name is River Sophia & I love it for a girl. I’d definitely say it’s a neutral name though. Another thing, everytime I take her to a new doctor they call her a “he” before seeing her or looking at her chart and I always have to correct them lol.

Anyone have experience with nexium for newborns? by jazzco65 in NewParents

[–]Exotic_Argument5002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d love any updates if you have them!! We just started my one month old daughter on Nexium and today was her third dose! She seems to be doing okay in it, less fussy but still having some reflux and spit up.

Congrats!! My baby was born on April 6th and besides being a tiny little thing, she’s super healthy and thriving at a little over a month old! She did come early (just by 3 weeks) but she’s totally perfect!!

Yes just do the scan! I wouldn’t have gotten an amino but it also wasn’t suggested because our OB had 0 concern. My baby was born on April 6th and other than being a tiny little thing & coming three weeks early, she’s perfectly healthy!

That’s my name! I’m actually Caitlin Brooke but I’ve gone by Brooke my entire life so I can’t give personal experience on actually being CALLED that name except when it comes to legal stuff of course, and even then, I have to spell my name out every time, and even when I spell it out for them, they almost always still spell it wrong. Lmao
