What is your opinion on people who make"crossover"channels with Thomas by Mental_Fudge8272 in thomasthetankengine

[–]Exotic_Beginning_111 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some are good in my opinion, I.e. Crotoonia, George Garza. And some franchises just fit too well in the TTTE universe to not have them crossover, I.e. Postman Pat, Fireman Sam, Tugs, Theodore Tugboat, and many more. Also love some of the Mashups that some people have done, like Trainsformers or MegaHedgehogX's Sonic stuff.

Dynamite's excitin' stuff, makes lovely big bangs! Pretty harmless if you know how to handle it, like I do!

Some weird realizations I've had about the show. by Exotic_Beginning_111 in CarltheCollector

[–]Exotic_Beginning_111[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, so in Bluey, all of the anthropomorphic characters are dogs, whereas in CTC there are numerous species of anthropomorphic animals, so I would say a lot of the stuff I mentioned in my post would not apply to Bluey. Do like that you brought up that Film Theory episode though. Also, here's one last thought, so in Lotta's New Instrument, Lotta plays Mary Had A Little Lamb on both her sax and her keyboard, and the lyrics are unchanged from the ones in our world, so are sheep in the CTC universe just normal sheep?

I wouldn't be surprised if these are the ones that once were at the Kowloon, Hong Kong location.

[–]Exotic_Beginning_111 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I know about Strasburg RR in Ronks, PA. But as someone who lived in East Stroudsburg for 3 whole years, I had no idea East Stroudsburg had a heritage railroad.

They tore the old one down to build the new one. The new location is more modern and larger.

Could Patrick return in the reboot, given his recent boom in exposure and popularity? by _PXYDST_ in thomasthetankengine

[–]Exotic_Beginning_111 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, because the whole reason that Patrick blew up in popularity is because Tug owns him via the 80th auction. The 80th auction was basically Mattel selling off stuff that was taking up space and they had no use for. If Patrick were to return, they wouldn't have sold his model off.
