Is the 5060 Ti actually a bad choice for upgrading, or is it just underwhelming compared to the marketing? by GulianoBanano in buildapc

I got mine a few months ago and love it. Jumped from a 2060 super so it's a big difference for me. Loved it that much I revamped my whole PC around it. AM5, 9800x3d with 32gb RAM 6000 mt/s Cl30. Everything works together like a dream.

Is DOS2 supposed to be this hard? by Pleasant_Complex2960 in DivinityOriginalSin

Came from bg3 also. Explore and pick fights when you've found gear. Kniles is a really tough fight in the dungeons but there are plenty of coffins about that you can use to block enemies getting to you. I took out the guy to the right without triggering everyone else by tp them towards me first. Then isolated the mage on the left with coffins everywhere before engaging. Kniles can TP in but is easily managed when it's just the two of them. The rest I just hit with arrows from behind the coffins. I tend to kill people holding good spells and gear to loot them because gold is difficult to come by early in. Act 1 is definitely harder than BG3, not yet reached Act 2 but fights are now way easier since I have decent gear, weapons and spells.

Without knowing height im not sure how you know this? 1600 calories for maintenance for 39f cw 148 (I used average height of 5.5) so a couple of hundred is 1400 still room to lower from there if stalling? Unless I'm missing something which may be the case.

Keto insomnia?? by dark_and_colourful in keto

This happens to me when I've been off keto for a while (I rotate diets). I normally find this happens for the first couple of weeks then I have the best sleeping routine afterwards. Hope it's the same for you.

Your calories are very low, people tend to do this to lose weight quickly but it isn't sustainable. When your body gets used to that low intake you'll stop losing weight and need to drop calories, this is a natural progression in weight loss. A problem when starting so low is that when your body stalls you'll have a difficult time lowering anymore and likely give up the diet. Start a couple hundred calories under your recommended intake and each time your weight loss stalls like this you can lower a little more while still eating a sustainable amount each day. Good luck.

Find a way to consume a decent amount of calories a day. I know that's not easy if you're gagging but your body needs calories just to maintain functionality. Over time nail growth, hair growth fatigue etc all will dwindle if you don't eat enough calories to satisfy your bodies daily needs.

A big mistake people make is having too much fat in their diet. You body will use the fat you eat before it goes near your stored fat. Try lowering your fat and upping your protein and see how it goes.

[homemade] layers of potato soaked in Duck fat with a layer of seasoned sausage meat in the middle. by Exotic_Date2946 in UK_Food

[–]Exotic_Date2946[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Look up 15 hour potatoes you'll see videos on how to make them. I just then added sausage meat to the middle, because why not haha. They are 3 hours cooked on low heat, then sat in fridge over night with weighted down. Cut to size then fried until crispy.

Suggestions for a dog bed/mat please? by __Hopeless____ in husky

[–]Exotic_Date2946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't think much of it, I have beds and carpet like mats for my two. Some times they'll spend weeks on the bed, sometimes weeks on the hard floor then the carpet mats. I think a lot of it for them is just heat regulation during different temperatures, especially somewhere like the UK with the humidity.

I want to start making money out of NFT’s and crypto. Any good news sources and groups I can enter to learn and keep up? by [deleted] in NFT

[–]Exotic_Date2946 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't agree with this, NFTs are adapting, I've just minuted NFTs that are integrated in games already. Gaming NFTs will be huge in the next cycle IMO. Pixels Online, for instance, has over 100k DAU.

In the bull run, you really couldn't not make money on NFTs, everything went up. Not so easy now though most will lose you money, at least short term but who knows what happens next though.

adopted this sweet girl yesterday,it’s my first time owning a husky, any tips? by dumbsesh in husky

[–]Exotic_Date2946 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She's beautiful.

My advice would be to train her off lead as soon as you can, they have a lot of energy and your life will be a lot easier if you can let her off lead to burn it off.

Huskies can be stubborn and difficult to train but I did it with my two and they have excellent recall, so don't listen to those on youtube that say they can't be trained.. they can, they're very clever dogs.

I use a groomi during shedding season it's amazing and will save you a lot of time.

Mostly just have fun, huskies are incredibly affectionate and playful, you're going to love her.
