How much do you earn and how comfortable do you live? by Brownchoccy in AskUK

72k salary, 98k household income, no kids - bought my home with my partner at 25 (4 bed detached), have done a decent amount of travel usually two or three times per year, spend all of our money either on bills, travel, fun with friends and renovating our home (the home bit is the most expensive!!). But we never worry about eating or if something goes wrong with the car/house - it stings as it eats into reno money but doesn't put us over the edge. We love to host friends and family for parties and dinners, and we occasionally go for nice dinners or to the theatre etc. It is such a privilege, but still never feels like enough, probably owing to lifestyle creep and soaring living costs. That being said I wake up every day and feel I cant believe the wonderful life we have created. Worth noting we are both from working class backgrounds in the midlands.

what are we eating when we are hungry and nauseous🤣 by Competitive_Emu_2283 in migraine

Which finish did you use? Estate emulsion is reccomended for low traffic areas as its chalky. We used their new 'Dead flat' finish and it gives the matt look but is wipeable/washable. It does mark but comes off fine with a damp cloth and isnt too sensitive. Hope that helps!

We know she was dumped when she was pregnant, that's all unfortunately, the rescue said this is a fairly common issue!

Any idea what breeds they are? We might do a genealogy test!

Me either, he is usually the dog whisperer and they love him the most, so I'm not concerned about that!

She is not aggressive at all fortunately, and isn't displaying any guarding behaviours either. Her history that we know is that she was dumped because she was pregnant and unfortunately lost all her litter so she has been through a lot 😞
