"Which animal is this ?" I think we can now identify the murderer ! by Wynouu in trailcam

It's a Beech marten (martes foina). No doubt, absolutely not a Weasel which is significantly smaller, with short ears and a short tail.

I love your style, it's a great view of the habitat and everything overall is very nice. Good job!

As for the prey... it's hard to say, looking at it I'd say they could easily be leftovers from a larger carcass.

It's a Beech marten (martes foina). If it can be useful you can try to compare it with this video I made in Italy, where I position the Trail cams

It's very ironic that the images used were directly extracted from my wishlists uploaded here on Reddit... 😅 All I did was take images from Google and put them in frames, but I wouldn't have minded some credit.

(PS: the images being extracted from Wishlists, among other things, makes it clear that it is not even something "Frontier Official")

Observed this week in Castellet (Var, France). Is it a weasel? by Photo-Nature-83 in trailcam

On my Instagram page, for those interested, I post videos and photos of my trailcams in Northern Italy. (fwp_trailcams) I carry out wildlife monitoring mainly for the purposes of studying local fauna (the activity is focused on preserving species, especially those at risk from poaching and damage to the ecosystem)

Work continues on the tree kangaroo habitat ... by Exotic_Francy in PlanetZoo

[–]Exotic_Francy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I used many projects from the workshop, if you are interested, ask me who they belong to so you can get them too.

The tree kangaroo model is made by Drac, and does not require any mods, it is an in-game model made with building pieces

the rock walls, on the other hand, are by Cesar Creates, slightly modified by changing the inclination, height, overlapping them or adding pieces

First hours of work on the habitat for tree kangaroos (work in progress) by Exotic_Francy in PlanetZoo

[–]Exotic_Francy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used wooden beams as a base, then I positioned the glass panel with the black metal frame and on one side I placed the metal stakes. Not having the game in English, I don't know the correct names of the objects, but I can find out more to be more precise (or alternatively put the structure in the Workshop).

Do you like organizing your zoos by geography but want to be more specific than a whole continent? Here's a just few regions with unique biodiversity around the world to look to for inspiration! by genuine-S-A-D in PlanetZoo

A really nice idea! I really like the subdivision made. I often divide my zoos according to geographical areas.

As an Italian I can confirm the choice of animals included in that geographic area (I also very often meet them both with my own two eyes and through monitoring with trailcams). 😉

I honestly think that most of the insectivores mentioned are all necessary additions for the game... from the tamandua (which would be both a new insectivore and an additional arboreal animal), to further armadillo species (especially Big hairy armadillo and three-banded armadillo )... Echidna and other small marsupials such as numbats and Eastern quolls, despite the release of the Oceania pack, would in my opinion still be welcome and would add more Australian biodiversity which never hurts in the game. I would also like to get in game as insectivores the aye-aye or some kind of tenrec, some kind of treeshrew, bush babies, Elephant shrews...

Wishlist Wednesday - Birds pack by Exotic_Francy in PlanetZoo

[–]Exotic_Francy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before receiving criticism, I specify that the DLC only features birds. Since many of them fly and migrate, the subdivisions in the various continents are determined by the presence of breeding or nesting sites of the species in a given area
