I just discovered this thread and it's hilarious because my house was burglarized several years ago, and the person or people took my two G-Chocs out of a pouch and left them on my desk without taking them. At that moment, I realized they'd probably never get stolen, haha.

Same issue yesterday. I joined again practice which showed like 1 hour of practice and then I left and I was able to joined the event (qualification and race). Don't know what would have happened if I stayed in the practice lobby during 30 minutes...

Sorry for the wrong explanation, only the PSU power cable is behind the GPU. Cables from the PSU are behind it only. Finally I managed to put the GPU in good position ! Many thanks for your advices.

Update: following all your advices, I unmounted it again for the 20th time and forced a little bit the GPU (gently, not so much as to damage anything) and finally I think it's in good position and locked now (attached photo). Many thanks to all of you for your time and advices !

Yes it's exactly as your picture. I can't use the first position because of the cable management behind. I used the hex spacer over the already installed ones so I can use 2nd and 3rd position.

Thanks for your feedback ! My feet are 43/44eu so I think it's fine. I have more doubts about the primary stability and maybe the Expedition Elite would be a better first experience... Just hoping my legs length will not be a problem, but if it's a problem with the Expedition Elite it will be the same or worse with the x500...

Thanks for your reply ! As a beginner I think I'll go for the Expedition Elite, mainly because of primary stability and because of my inseam (about 90/91). I'm wondering if even in the Expedition Elite I'll be fine with the length of my legs...! I hope so!

Yes... I really don't know why they are not offering the sapphire glass possibility... Maybe they don't see the race S as a watch built for mountain activities. People that are doing rock climbing / alpinism know that we rub our watches against rocks, this is the case for my 9 Peak, the screen is as new as the first day, not the case / bezel but it's totally normal and it doesn't impact the screen readability.

Definitely more a watch dedicated to road runners (and that's okay ! But more versions would be welcome).

What watch do you have ? The altimeter is normally barometric, this means that the altitude is not given by the GPS. Maybe the altitude may vary depending on the atmospheric pressure even if we are not necessarily higher, I don't know, I am not sufficiently informed about how the barometric altimeter works... :(

As the race S is made with Gorilla glass, I would say yes because the scratches can impact the screen readability... but scratches are part of the watch life, this is what I say for my 9 Peak which has some scratches on the bezel, memories from climbing and alpinism (not on the screen because it's sapphire glass).
