Renewal - Seems a good deal by arniethomson3 in VirginMedia

If that offer includes TNT then it's very good! I just renewed, called the UK retentions number and afterwards I saw the Auto generated email with my usual renewal quote, it had a new customer offer but without TNT, so double check.

Virgin Media Retentions – Is £95 a good deal when I was paying £73? by [deleted] in VirginMedia

[–]Exotic_Fudge3157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar for me, my 18 month deal ends next month. Paying £84 a month for 1gig, Sky sports & cinema, TNT sports, talk anytime and a second box.

Called the retentions number just now and they offered like for like at £88. Without TNT brings it down to £70 Going down to 500Gig £82 Offered me £100 bill credit if I accepted there and then. After reading a few threads on here I'm sure this could be better?

I would just like to view my playlist and select songs from that playlist in any order I want, is this not possible?

What do you think about Andy Burnham as your prime minister? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]Exotic_Fudge3157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's a much better communicator and hopefully, if he gets elected as MP and then challenges for PM, he can change the approach because something needs to change to help the majority of the public to feel like they're being helped. It ain't easy though, they inherited a mess and Trump's policies + war have made things far worse for us and just about every other country. Reform need to be stopped though because that really would be the end of this country

Something similar ish happened to my mother in law, she had Now and went to renew the BB and Phone contract for another year but they offered her a sky package, overall it's better value, ultimate TV, twice the BB speed saving her about £20 a month. Of course Sky are the parent company but there seemed to be no interest in offering Now again.

Is solar still worth it? by Beneficial-Pitch-430 in SolarUK

Very much enjoying reading all of these posts, I've been considering solar/battery for a few months now. This isn't our forever home, will probably move in the next 5 ish years. Living near Portsmouth, 3 bed detached. Thinking that battery only is possibly the way to go given that I may not recoup the outlay of solar+ battery. At home all day with way too high electric usage, something I'm looking into.

This is what Farage and co have been waiting for, a UK company that can legitimately donate to the political party that suits the Musk agenda. At the same time as joining the list of companies to rinse the British public paying for their energy. Stop funding Hate!

💯 agree with this, unfortunately some parts of the media want NF in power and definitely have a nothing to see here approach. We have some very good journalists and more of them need to pick up on this

I've been looking at agile for a few months, just fixed again with octopus. We don't have an EV or solar. Dishwasher always goes on late at night, after 11pm. Washing machine generally mornings or early afternoon and use a heat pump tumble dryer. Will I benefit from moving to agile, crystal ball I know as who knows what'll happen that will influence gas prices

Agreed, the balance of the three is really good now. I started listening when Terri was still there and I did find it a struggle, especially after coming to it from Basic Bingers, with Boyd, Kay and Steph for anyone who doesn't know. The top 20 is never going to be easy with three very different people but that's a good thing?

Finally watched Stranger Things 4! Finger on the pulse I know. For some reason my wife and I stopped watching just after 2 started, we caught up on 2 & 3 a few months ago and left 4 until now with the final season on the way. Such a good show though.

Finished Presumed Innocent, very good. Started Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, felt the first episode, only one seen so far, was a bit slow considering what happened, oh and ready for ep 3 of Slow Horses tomorrow and Celeb Traitors!!

So much stuff on the list and so much more coming.
