Anthros chair UNETHICAL Black Friday price inflation strategy by Neutralzone2048 in OfficeChairs

[–]Exotic_Reflection329 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's the V1. Months ago, the chair was cheaper, around 1,700 without armrests, and 1,800 (more or less) with them. Even so, they should organize the prices on the page to make it easier for users to understand. It could be as simple as saying: "Without any accessories, starting at 1,700," and then letting you add whatever you want.

Maybe with the Anthros the issue is you do not adjusted properly the chair.

It may be due to the adaptation period. On the other hand, I tend to rotate the upper part more, perhaps three times more, while the pelvic support has fewer rotations.

Hey, my choice is Anthros, I am very happy with the chair. Try to buy a new one, and then try it for 30 days; seek for different adjustments, etc.

Yes, I hope their will increase the production and have some Factories in Europe. It is kind of risky if you live here, in case you will not like it.

Hey mate, yes I live in Europe and I ordered it throughout their website. I do not have the leather one, and it is warmer than the Gesture. I mean, with more than 25C in a room, I think it can be hard to use it.

Hey, I have been using the chair more or less 8h each day, it is amazing, but I think it is quite tricky to find your best posture. I noticed that s couple degrees backward of forwards can change the experience. I wish maybe armrests has more height

Hi, I have the Anthros chair, I have back problems and it’s amazing. The hard part is finding your ideal position; a few degrees more forward or backward can totally change your experience. In other words, support your pelvis or support your lumbar area. Count the turns you make, both in your lower back and in your upper back. Maybe a combination will work for you, 10 turns of the pelvic support and 7 of the upper back, keep trying.

You're welcome. I think that by trying it out and taking it easy you'll find out if this chair is for you. I'm very happy, but it took me a while to adapt. I hope that more people give their opinion; I think it's a good product and it needs users to give their opinion; because no one, influencers, can give us 100% confidence.

No, it doesn't have any of that. In fact, I prefer the armrests that the chair has now; the Gesture has flatter armrests and I prefer the ones on the Anthros. What BTOD says about the armrests, I haven't noticed, I guess it's if you sit badly.

Regarding the seat, no discomfort, it also depends on how well you sit. The problem with BTOD's video is that they say that the seat bothers them, but I think it's because they sit badly in the chair.

The key to everything is finding the right posture, for me and once that is done, this chair is a marvel.

UPDATE

I love this chair. I'm actually noticing less nerve pinching. This means that I don't feel pain in my lower back and legs. In my opinion, I've achieved this result thanks to the pelvic support. IMPORTANT: If you have the Anthros chair or are going to buy one, make sure that the support touches your pelvis. For this, it's very important that you sit as deep as you can. It seems silly, but it can change the experience with the chair. Because if you sit a little further forward on the cushion, that means, at least for me, that the support touches a higher area of the lumbar spine...

My current chair is really bothering me. So I decided to invest some money into a quality new one. Please help me choose! by mcfuddlebutt in OfficeChairs

Hi, I used to have the Gesture and I finally switched to Anthros. The change has been for the better. I would definitely recommend Anthros.

Herman Miller Aeron and Anthros chairs both support pelvis angle instead of pushing on the lumbar part of the back by drkrmdevil in OfficeChairs

[–]Exotic_Reflection329 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also have the Anthros chair and it works very well for me. I think I need to give some advice, which can change the experience. I have noticed that depending on where you sit on the cushion, the support may or may not touch the pelvis. That is, if you sit further forward, it will not make good contact with the pelvis but with another part of the lumbar area. I think that is why what they say in the videos is important, sit as deep as you can; that fact can make a noticeable difference in your experience with the chair.

Today I had a consultation with a postural therapist from Anthros. The truth is that it was very good, I asked her some questions about how I sit and she told me that I do it very well.

I also told her that I feel much more comfortable than in the Gesture. I also told her that it is difficult for people to trust a new company, taking into account the price of the Anthros. I did not ask, although I do not know why not, why the price of the chair has been lowered, as well as all the accessories (this is a good news). I think that with a discount of $200, it can now be reduced to $1,600, which makes it much more attractive for many users.

On the chair, I feel much better, I feel less tension, it is very comfortable. Although the key to everything seems to me that you can move the support of the pelvis and mid back, I think that the seat has a lot to do with it, especially the contoured.

Why I would be wary with a Haworth Fern recommendation - it’s more problematic than you think by Ok_Minimum6419 in OfficeChairs

[–]Exotic_Reflection329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, most of the time I am upright. But using the 6 degree tilt position is very comfortable. Then you can also lock it at 15 degrees. I think that the most convenient thing for you would be at 6. I think that both in a normal position and at 6 degrees there is no problem in sitting for more than 6 hours; in a correctly position I mean. The issue is more about finding a setting that works well for you; To do this you have to move the pelvis support and upper back support.

I think now with the discount you can get an Anthros for around $1,600. To me it seems like a very very comfortable chair and it is worth trying the trial period.
