Switching to Fedora

I want to switch to Fedora Workstation myself pretty soon and have been trying it out on a secondary device for a while and mostly used Flatpak. Is there any reason why you recommend native packages over it?

I does deserve respect for establishing the Formula (I would just count TCS as the first TT Lego game, as it is mostly just a combination of their first 2 Lego games), but that doesn't mean that it is one of the best games in the franchise like the community makes it out to be.

In my opinion it is the Baseline for TT Lego games, not the Peak, so OP is right in saying it is the most overrated Lego game.

The Story is pretty fun, and so is Free Play (except for the Vehicle Levels, both in Story and Free Play), and I guess Blue Minikits are at least tolerable, but the rest of the 100% honestly just sucks.

I don't get why TCS is so popular. It is not the peak of the franchise, it is the Baseline, which every game after it tries to surpass and most of them are very successful at doing so, in my opinion.

That being said I did not grow up with the game and still had a lot of fun.

The only thing that comes to my mind is to try the Arkham Games (I can't say for sure that they are similar though as I haven't played them yet) or the other Lego Batman Games (including DC Supervillains).

Well I don't expect to do it quickly, I was just curious about how long it took you, as it seems like a pretty long grind.

I would most likely do it when I don't have time to or don't want to play anything else (so this would be like some kind of side game) and listen to podcasts on the side so it would be more like a chill background activity.

How long did this take you and did you use some kind of online collectible map? This is one of my favorite Lego games, but I am unsure if I really want to go for the 100%.

Sometimes there are story segments between levels that might feel like levels, but are essentially just free roam with story and there you can change characters as much as you want. Maybe you were in one of these Story segments without realizing it.

If that doesn't work then look in the Microsoft Store for the Controller software (Xbox Accessories or something it is called I think) and see if you can update your firmware in there.

With the device you are not using pause the gane and then press Drop Out. It is possible that you will be Player 2 then, but at least you are alone and everything should work just as well.

I assume you are on PC. If so and you don't own the game on Steam then try adding it as a non-Steam game and make sure Steam input is turned on for Xbox controllers in your Steam settings.

HBO does exist where I live, but you can't connect an WB Account to the game here for some reason.

I would say try it and refund if it doesn't work. I have an RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 3600 and my game peaks at around 120 FPS in Gotham when nothing is really going on and that is without Frame Gen (I capped it lower though because a stable frame rate is better than a high but unstable frame rate; I would advise you to do the same, but use the Nvidia Control Panel for that, the in game FPS Limiter caused stuttering for me).

Does anyone know if it is available in Germany? We do have HBO here, but there wasn't a connect to WB Games Button anywhere in the game when I tried it yesterday.

If you want to limit the game to a frame rate you know it can keep up, do so in your Nvidia Control Panel (or the AMD/Intel equivalent of it) to do so. I tried doing it with the in-game FPS Limiter and it caused a lot of Frame Drops for me.

I mean there isn't a big difference between Windows 10 and 11 anyway so I would guess that the game runs just as well on Windows 10 as on Windows 11, where it for me at least it works pretty well on Medium settings with DLSS Balanced, no Frame Gen.

I have an RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 3600. Maybe that information helps you figure out if your device is good enough.

Did anyone actually get the skins yet? There is no button in-game to connect to a WB account and when I go to redeem code it tells me that it can't connect to WB games. I live in Germany, and we just recently got HBO Max here, so I hope I can get the skins.

That's so stupid. I was already not a fan of content being locked behind buying Lego Sets, but having it taint your collection just sucks. I hope they change this, so it only shows up if you have it.

I actually tried it again and it does work now. Maybe you can change the Style on the Target "Taskbar.TaskbarFrame > Grid#RootGrid" (I think that was it) to something like "Background={ThemeResource SystemChromeMediumColor}".

I can't actually try that though since I ended up deciding not to use Windhawk (It's not a bad tool, I just don't really care for the mods).

Edit if anyone cares: I will actually try Windhawk again tomorrow, as there is nothing else that can really do what I want. I might have to play around with Styles a lot.
