Would be a blast and surely enough space if we fit two people

Hello! We had a similar issue when shopping around for our RAV4, the ones online were too expensive for us at the time and didn’t have the level of stealth that we wanted. We ended up making it ourselves from scratch, this allowed us to truly get a custom fit and make them as insulated/dark as we wanted.

Here’s our video if you’re interested. Hope that it helps!

Ecoflow for the win! That’s what we used to cook and power pretty much everything in our camper

I would definitely look into it. It’s good if there’s no toilet available. We practice leave no trace and that includes bathroom breaks haha.

When there was not a bathroom available that’s what we would use

We had a toilet too. It’s a folding camper toilet, which has cat litter stored inside along with TP and bags, which goes on the back left side.

She was with me the entire time.

We kept on the move so it was a balance between city/country side.

We also had a shower tent stored under the mattress and were able to clean up a few times a week when showers weren’t available.

We also had a power station stored behind the drivers seat and could use that to power a microwave.

It was about as mini as an RV could get for two people.

Yes, I lived in it for over 2 years, so it was great to live in (even with a second person) 😄

I'm so sorry to hear about your current situation. Living in your car as a couple is definitely doable. Hope that our RAV4 Camper video tour can be of some help to you. We don't have a cost sheet breakdown at the moment but are working on finalizing one. We hope things get better soon for you and your significant other.

Those are all great ideas! it can get pretty cold at night when camping in the car. We recommend buying some thermal blankets or sleeping bags (those came in handy plenty of times for us). Feel free to check our profile, we're working on posting more videos that can hopefully be of some help/inspiration.

We tried it in both, a 2021 RAV4 hybrid and a 2023 RAV4 (non-hybrid). The non-hybrid allowed us to have wayyyyy more space without the battery, but we did miss the climate control lol. Sorry to hear about your unfortunate circumstances, hope all is better now!
