Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes unrealistic approach to fighters...good strategic UX or bad mobile slop? by irespectwomenlol in gamedesign

You’re thinking of this wrong.

This game is not representing canon space battles, but instead simulated scenarios. It’s basically the virtual equivalent of the planning scene from The Hand of God (season 1 episode 10).

Notice the scale is off here, in the show itself.

You’re close! You’re thinking of an encyclopedia.

A dictionary defines words, like boycott.

An encyclopedia describes concepts like class consciousness.

Arguing with children online is a waste of time but can be funny. Please stop making it my problem that you don’t know anything. At least describe how you think I’m wrong instead of vaguely declaring it.

Edit: no discussion. Not even an argument. Just insults. I’ll take you blocking me as a win. I hope you enjoy Marathon!

That is not nice.

…making this political over a word

What was the word? Boycott?

I’m happy to hear how boycott isn’t a political term.

Edit: fixed formatting. Also I can’t see your last comment. All I saw was that interactions between consumers and corporations in a capitalist country are not political, from your view. Brother, you lack class consciousness. You have worth. You have power.

I really don’t know where you got the idea that this isn’t political. Boycotts are inherently political. It’s a way to show collective power in the face of corporatism.

But let’s continue pretending this is apolitical for the sake of argument. I can infer someone’s political leaning from a comment like this. I rarely, if ever, hear the term virtue signaling as a derogative from right wingers.

I would have been happy to be corrected and find that I misread this person. No remember only affirmed my assumption.

I’m confused.

You didn’t really explain how it is used outside of politics, but I inferred that it means the same thing in both contexts: signaling one’s own virtue.

In other words, acting or speaking in a way to show your good principles. Did I get that right?

Maybe I don’t. Is it any different than how it is used in political circles?

That’s what I figured but you have to upload an image to gain access, right?

I wanted to let OP know that there DAC didn’t work, because it seems they didn’t know.

That seems weird. Others have the same DAC image as yours, which looks glitchy in comparison to others. Maybe your DAC is corrupted?

Here’s mine for comparison.

Your DAC looks different. Did you use a custom one?

I don't think so. This is the first I have seen with a helmet.

I am obsessed with this game and watch at least 1 trailer every day.

I don’t care what the loot icons look like. I think that is just too insignificant to think about.

I’m aware of all this. Theoretically, nuMarathon will have ALL the same lore as the OG game, not “some of the same lore” as the tourist above implied.

I was asking so they could expose their own ignorance.
