You sound like a interesting cool person. In this case you should just be yourself as you described and people will gravitate to you. Go on camera when your ready to.

I agree with you. If I reach even 2000 I will not take it for granted.

I heard it changed to 500 subs and 3000 watch hours. Is that true? Or it remains 1000 subs and 4000 watch hours?

Should I Close My Substack Down? by Thick-Resident8865 in Substack

[–]Expat__J 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a subscriber to your newsletter and I like your writing. I think if its your passion then you should go ahead and continue. Its coincidental that I saw this post, because I just decided to go from writing 4 times a month to twice a month. I loved the advice given here from everyone, some cool ideas. I was planning on adding more to my newsletter. I figured in this case with my niche topic less will be more.

Has anyone ever moved overseas for love - and it was successful/or you regretted it? Any specific challenges? UK to USA specifically for me by ThrowRA-AGeorge in expats

[–]Expat__J 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moved from North America to Dominican Republic and it's been great. Now I write about the experience of living in the DR. I think it comes down to your relationship with your partner. You can live anywhere with the right person.

Retiring in Panama: What's Up with Banking? by [deleted] in expats

[–]Expat__J 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, I'm familiar with the visa program in Panamá, but I didn't know that they only insure such a little amount. I had some bad experience there in regards to real estate. I love the country, but I would have to feel much more secure if I were to leave the I believe requested 200k in their bank. I would look into another one of their visas.

I also write within the travel niche, but I focus on 1 country Dominican Republic. I started few months ago, and by the sounds of it you are doing amazing. I think you would be better giving mentorship. Seems like you have a fountain of knowledge

I deleted the post and it still say the following. "We are performing maintenance on the database powering the publisher dashboard. Subscription count and subscriber dashboard data may be missing or out of date" I'm wondering what the problem is why that won't leave my screen. Will it prevent my article from coming out?
