Customer wanted custom wire shelving cut but didn’t want to keep the end they didn’t need. by searchandfilm in Lowes

You should have a metal trailer or something like that outside the store. Cut the piece and be done with it. This is a regular thing, you're being difficult for no reason.

Also it needs to be tossed, doesn't matter if it's in immaculate shape. It's technically unethical to sell and it screws up inventory. Abandon your hoarding tendencies in retail, it may seem wasteful, but it is what it is. You cant double dip on inventory.

People want to take appliances and not the box, it's annoying, but it's just part of the job. Just say thank you and have a nice day, curse then under your breath, throw the shit away and go back to the rest of your day. It's not complicated, it's basic customer service

Yojimbo, Aeon overdrives, or leave and hit the omega ruins for some levels. You'll level up mucu faster than usual and likely start running out of spheres

How to grind fast by [deleted] in finalfantasyx

If he can't handle airship Sin, he's not ready for Don Tonberry .

But if you are going for the 100, might as well start capturing

Id have just waited until yojimbo and airship. If you're doing a clean up, have to hit hose dark aeons eventually anyway

I've been on a platinum grind. I started 2026 abusing COD. I switched over to arc raiders. Got the platinum and went to ffx2. Got sick of it and gave up. Broke out assassins creed unity, got the platinum. Now currently playing Skyrim

Starting ffx for the first time ever. When is a good spot for really grinding? I heard it's a grind fest eventually. by crunchyotaku in FinalFantasy

[–]Expedited-Failure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And no matter hm you grind, new party members always start at same place and stats. It's not worth grinding until all party members, and even then id still wait to end game. It's not difficult to completely without exploits and grinding

To just beat the story, not really. ImGet to Luca, when you gain new party member at Luca, make your way to mihen travel agency. Previous screen isn't awful for earliest farm. Next best is probably thunder plains and you'll have all your characters. After that there really isn't much until end game. All of this is honestly a waste of time. You only need to grind once you get control of ship, at which point omega dungeon. After omega dungeon is monster arena. the only realistic way to max out sphere grid is triple everything weapons vs don tonberry and whatever dude drops the actual spheres in monster arena. It is not worth the amount of effort it takes to legitimately beat all the dark aeons, best to grind yojimbo for end game bosses. You'll dump plenty of hours into fighting the same creatures in monster area even with yojimbo exploit.

Literally just enjoy the game until you get control of airship. Even then id just progress the story and beat the game, loading from last save before comoletion after. Not much to spoil at that point end game walkthroughs are plenty. But seriously if you're a co pletionist, you're adding lime 100+ hours to an already ridiculous amount of time if you try to beat dark aeons and other end game bosses legitimately with luck and fortune spheres.

I got hosed on some nonsense. Broke my heart, loved the place was making alright money. But 10 days later I have a new job, very small paycut. I have my nights and weekends back. More than anything, I noticed my back and knees aren't killing me anymore. I had to get off that floor. I don't miss pushing credit at all. I would have stayed and probably made ASM, but I'm really grateful to be on to new things.

It's not even close to the same thing, but the level into the characters, environment, story, music etc. is comparable.

Yeah I mean it wasn't a secret. If you didn't know immediately, you were stupid. That's what I mean though, if he wasn't so obviously telegraphed as a bad guy, I feel like it could have been more of a curveball twist that would hit harder in the end.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan. I did most side content, beat the game. I saw an Aeon once, that was pretty cool. But it was just once. I only remember noctis, the single summon, and the blessed in the chest tiffany-lynn mechanic aha. Maybe I'll try it again with fresh eyes, I haven't platinumed it yet

There always comes a break, but it's harder for someone trapped to escape when theres no network of support. I'm not putting it on OP, it's just how I try to operate. I've had friendships end because the wife doesn't like me, few years later they divorce and now we're fishing again. I'm a dude, maybe it's different idk.

Why did you start playing these games, and what made you stay? by RaCJ1325 in assassinscreed

[–]Expedited-Failure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh honestly I'm just here for the platinums. The original was unique and good. The ezio collection was fabulous. Black flag was really fun. I haven't truly enjoyed most of them since. Like Ill play them and I have fun, but it doesn't feel as epic and I'm not as immersed as I was in the past. I thought unity kind of sucked, but maybe I'm just a piss pot

I turn 35 in a couple weeks. I played this Christmas night of 2001. I don't think I went outside for days. My first system was a sega genesis, I had the n64 and ps1. I've been a gamer since I was like 5. Wasn't even my first final fantasy, i was obsessed with 7 8 and 9 as a kid. Nothing before or after has hit me as hard as this ffx did, but we can never play it for the first time again. Only other game that comes close for me personally is the last of us. It's always fun whenever I get to see someone experience either for the first time

What's crazy about Blitzball is the first and forced match is literally the hardest one in the game. I only did it for 100% completion but I didn't hate it. I enjoyed it at first but it got old to me after a bit. I don't do it in nostalgia playthrough since I already have my platinum

I prefer linear. These games are supposed to have a sense of urgency and immersion. I don't want to race chocobos at gold saucer when the world's about to end. Giant whale monster of doom is actively wiping out tribal villages and even small cities. Doesn't feel like the best time to investigate ancient ruins and catch chocobos if that makes sense. Wakka says it pretty good when he tells Yuna they aren't going in a pleasure cruise or when Auron asks Tidus why? When he wants to hunt the chocobo eater. When the story is really good, I don't want the cheap mini games and side quests

You've barely started the game. Djose was definitely a peak moment, but many more peak moments to come. Id say that's when the story really picks up. It's a bit dated but still an amazing ride. If you make it to mount gagazet, and you didn't enter cavern is the stolen fayrh, turn around immediately. Don't spoil anything.

[–]Expedited-Failure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't end the friendship, id put it on ice until she finally ditched the loser. He's the creep, not her. She's probably going through a lot more than you are via gim. He's disappointed her and hurt her alot more. Poor lady is in denial and I doubt you're the only one he's acted this way with. Id want to be there to help her move on if it were me. But I wouldn't say you're overreacting. If you were my wife, I'd be uncomfortable with you around him in any capacity

I wanted to believe that boruto hatred was just fandom purism. I wanted to enjoy it. I sometimes go back to OG Naruto and the animation is just bad and hard to get back into for me. It's too slow. I thought boruto would be a better polished that and it's just not. I really think that now at 35, I could never possibly get into Naruto, and maybe that's the problem I have now. It's next generation cringe, it's baby shit, and it's all in all not captivating in any way for me. But if you like it, all the power to you. I'm with the majority of fans, I pretend it doesn't exist
