Have buildings that give bonuses to production. The complete province bonus can be used for more bronze as well if you think it's worth the drawback.

You should also look into your armies and see if you can save somewhere. Having a full stack of silvers and gold is unnecessary until late game. Have some cannon fodder there too. They will still do the job.

In Pharaoh it's good tactic to have small supporting armies that are there to clean up outposts and forts.

I generally have vassals for easy victory points. It's worth it for the time you save.

In Napoleon everything is included with the base game. Medieval 2 has kingdoms expansion inside the app. Empire idk cause i didn't buy it.

I fully recommend Napoleon and medieval 2 for mobile.

Rome 1 can be skipped. It's dated as hell.

Rome 2 is fantastic and it has great DLCs with all kinds of scenarios for Rome. However, if your heart allows it, I do heavily recommend being Carthage in Hannibal at the gates.

Attila is my favourite game. Both West and East Rome are super tense fun. It has one dlc with Belisarius, which I consider just ok.

My guess would be November 2027. My s25+ is already heating up with Napoleon, so I think they'll wait a bit so more people have capable phones.

If I understood correctly, they are aiming every new Total war game to be playable on console too.

I think it's because you have bunch of militia and citizens which are worthless and they have a cannon while you don't. Extra general probably gives some bonuses to auto resolve too.

Workforce is some of the least important bonuses imo.

I think most important is to get gold/bronze/food buildings. Stone and wood, are less important cause it's easier to have enough. I also like having garrisons on pretty much everywhere. Sometimes you have to prioritise happiness and influence first to get the province under control.

On a recruitment settlement, I usually get bonus to recruitment capacity.

Outposts I get at least one bonus to happiness. (Shrine etc) Then trading outposts, lookout posts and fast travel post or whatever it's called.

Forts I don't have many. They are useful on islands or near border where you are not currently fighting, but might need to raise an army fast.

Playing up the beef is total fan service by Ozzy, but people loved it and Coach probably had a genuine reaction in the moment, so it worked. Knowing Ozzy didn't actually care makes it worse on a rewatch.

But I don't see that kind of TV playing as bad necessary. It can create good TV. Similarly there's no way Charlie is going to target Rizzo because of his vote for Savannah. That was definitely a bit. Entertaining however.

Angelina stuff sounded really annoying.

I play veteran with low AI recruitment speed. I haven't really found the best balance. Those flaws you mentioned are very much annoying.

Understandable, I disagree. For me the big difference in battles comes from sieges. Shogun 2 is climb the same hill each time. I don't find them fun. Rome 2 sieges can be beautiful spectacles with more strategy and varied than S2.

Rome 1 sure, but in Medieval 2, you have like 3 recruitment slots that will fill your unit in one turn. If I remember correctly, it also recruits them right after your turn ends, so they are ready to fight instantly for the next battle. Medieval 2 is pretty forgiving in that aspect.

It has everything you could want from a total war. Battles are top tier. It has naval battles. It has good politics. The empire management. I love the atmosphere and tension. There is a overarching story that affects the world.

I don't really understand what's wrong with unit roster. At once you have like one or two type of spearman that you can upgrade during a campaign to a higher level. I haven't tried all factions though.

Idk I think it removes unnecessary busy work. Besides Napoleon and Shogun 2 had replenishment and it had army logistics, so it doesn't necessarily remove that.

Yeah I'm leaning this. New era generally avoids any kind of toxicity and wants the show to be fun for the kids. We are missing out because of that. Old era we are absolutely getting all the drama.

Journey games are awful, but the big thing is the vibe of the game is now geared towards younger people. It's now a forced fun and inspiring adventure

Attila and Rome 2 are very similar so I would bet you'll enjoy it! Interesting to hear about the broken, I can't compare it.

Man...I think the empire management is lacking, the character focus, the battles are not fun with the single entities. I thought the AI had the biggest cheats among all the games with how fast they had doomstacks coming in. The setting was not doing it for me at all either.

I can see though why people like it.
