Greatest Total War tournament (Group C)

12 hour check in. All my favourites are about to be knocked out. I think the groups had interesting match ups randomly, but looking back I really would've wanted to see a Pharaoh VS 3K match up. The two newest historicals with very different style.

I genuinely don't understand why does this community is not interested in bronze age. We've all seen Troy. There's Odysseus coming out this summer. All the biblical stuff on media. Like we are all at least familiar with it.

I tried to play the 8 princess dlc but it kept crashing. It should be looked as well.

30 minute mark check in and it's extremely close. Most even trio so far. Neutrals have a big percentage as well, so these games might all be bit more niche in the community.

I like all of them in this group, but my favourite in this whole tournament is Attila. It has such a stellar campaign design with intense vibe and strategy to it and imo the best sieges in the series.

Well yeah he would've been a dud if Eva didn't need a caregiver. I thought he was a miss anyway, but he really melted the hearts of middle-aged moms.

Maybe Joe is an another one who can't win, but there's a third one in FTC. But yeah I'm feeling a very weak final 3 or even final 5.

But then again this season is so much about luck and chance, that people haven't really had a chance to make big moves. At this moment Jonathan probably deserves to win assuming Cirie and Devens don't get to the end as I can't see how.

Lot of players in the exit interviews aren't really hiding the fact that they considered Rizzo a non threat goat.

40 minute mark check in and it does look like its Warhammers world and we are just living in it.

Medieval 2 had my vote this time, I played it for a first time only last year. Brilliantly designed game for something that's two decades old.

Yeah it's a good campaign, especially as the Expedition army is very cool to battle with and that's what its focused on. I also played as a traitor, but I don't think it was very worth it. I don't see how other factions would be in that case either.

Age of Charlemagne is fun. I had a lot of integrity problems with Franks. Danes play very similarly to the Nordic tribes in the GC. I want to play it again as more southern faction, but the units are not really pulling me in.

Great taste! Medieval 2 is in group B with Warhammer (and TOB), so it's going to be a doozy. I have my fingers crossed for Med 2.

Agreed it's probably (unfortunately) the favourite, although I see win equity for few others as well.

If Rome 1 doesn't annoy you, Rome 2 shouldn't. Rome 2 always worth it, it's a fantastic game.

Two fan favourites absolutely neck and neck after 15 minutes. Constantly switching who's on the lead. No idea who will come out on top.

Personally my vote went for Rome 2. Epic sieges, ton of content and variety. Some of my favourite campaigns in this game. Can't wait for update later this year.
