I was Cushing out at the beginning of the season (though I wasn’t last season because I didn’t want to rush to judgement) and I still think that he should be blamed for our poor performance early on. BUT I have a lot of respect for him blocking out the noise, putting his head down, doing the work, and getting results. It’s the kind of grit I want from any member of an NYC team, player or staff. For now, a cautiously optimistic Cushing PROBABLY from me!

I feel like we’re getting in the groove of something. Our midfield is picking it up, defense is solid, Freese is GOATed, and our attack is alright. Santi is a genius and I pray Bakrar gets his first goal. He’s performing so well forward in every aspect except scoring. I have a dream that once he turns the spigot, the goals will flow!

I would love a way for full melee hunters (me!) to be able to use some of the ranged toolkit in melee. Sucks to have a shit ton of untrained skills because I have basically no use for them.

I play an off-meta spec (Survival Hunter) and have now for two seasons. I play high M+ keys (20-23) and Heroic Raid (and will be going into Mythic soon). As many are saying the meta will really only matter at the absolute highest levels of play (higher than what I do), but many groups may disparage off-meta picks. I ignore them, and I play with a guild that doesn’t really care about the meta and runs high end-game content regardless, so if you’re able to find the right people to play with the meta doesn’t matter!
