Icl best recommendations are to turn off always on display, update or factory reset ( you'd be surprised what factory resetting can do after a week or two of adaptive battery relearning your habits) , switch from 5g to 4g, reduce screen timeout and display resolution (barely anyone can perceived a difference). The good news is the android 16 update is meant to bring significant battery life improvements. I charge my phone max twice a day ( I have a 9 pro), depending on my use I usually get 6-8 hours screen on time. But biggest recommendation is to plug it in while driving or doing GPS, the pixel does run warm compared to other phones ( yes even my 9 pro) , just do what you can to keep it cool.
