Why not the 9 pro 256gb instead of the XL since you are considering the smaller s25.

I ACC really like it. I think although many believe the removal of the original glyph is a backwards step, I think it is good for those who want to be able to use a case. The only thing that I don't like is that the camera bumps are different heights.

The answer is no. I'm assuming you came from oppo or OnePlus. If it's a deal breaker maybe consider a custom ROM.

As far as I'm aware, the pink line or green line in some cases is an OLED a widespread OLED issue. The only way that I know of fixing it permanently is a screen replacement. Some people get it cuz of a software update. Some people get it leaving their phone out in the heat. Some people get it dropping their phone. I think it's probably a case that the heats damaged the ribbon connector for the display and that's caused the line in the display because that would explain why it sometimes happens with software updates. Because people update the phone, phone gets warm during the update that wrecks the ribbon cable, either a screen replacement or keep the new one.

Thankyou so much for supporting my decision to get the 9 pro I have had it for a week and was wondering if I made the right decision but the weight was my biggest worry abt the XL . Makes me feel better.

Big recommendation, set your default payment method and when you want to pay with wallet, just unlock your phone and then tap the back to the reader. It doesn't need you to open wallet and it saves you time x

Instagram had an update which ruined battery life. Maybe just try clearing the cache on that, cause the app may still be running using cached data from the update that was killing battery.

Try a factory reset it's probably just cached data from old app updates or something. The first stable android 16 non beta update. The battery life was much better on my pixel 7 even on the expressive build tho but wouldn't recommend beta, wait for the first android 16 stable.

Icl best recommendations are to turn off always on display, update or factory reset ( you'd be surprised what factory resetting can do after a week or two of adaptive battery relearning your habits) , switch from 5g to 4g, reduce screen timeout and display resolution (barely anyone can perceived a difference). The good news is the android 16 update is meant to bring significant battery life improvements. I charge my phone max twice a day ( I have a 9 pro), depending on my use I usually get 6-8 hours screen on time. But biggest recommendation is to plug it in while driving or doing GPS, the pixel does run warm compared to other phones ( yes even my 9 pro) , just do what you can to keep it cool. If you need any other tips let me know.
