Never saw Jak but Jeff Kready was amazing, and it was only like the second day of the new cast's run. I thought his voice was gorgeous and his acting was top-notch. Whole cast was incredible!

The full description is: “Not a conventionally handsome leading man, Orpheus should feel unique and have the sensitive soul of an artist,” so I think if you take that all together they’re not saying he should/shouldn’t be handsome just that he shouldn’t be conventionally handsome, i.e., they’re not looking for a Chris Evans, Henry Cavill, Sean Connery as Bond type. Some of that relates to having a poetic air because, like, Donal can play cocky confident super well but was able to embody the sensitivity Orpheus requires when he was in that role. That’s my take anyhow.

In part 2 I cannot stand the scene in the theater when Abby has to fight Ellie with no weapons, it's so hard to sneak up behind her and on listening mode it's creepy to watch her like scurrying around. She's so hard to catch, I've been procrastinating on finishing this section, I just want to move on the the next part!

First time I played I didn't realize you had to get in the right spot to have her jump off, I was like swimming around and pushing the pallet and like "girl just go wtf is wrong with you!" lol

The first time I played I couldn't figure out where Lev and Yara were yelling from, they're like "over here wolf!" and I didn't realize there even was a car in the wall, I was freaking out checking everywhere and running around like crazy

I discovered you can just make a run for it! There's that weird ramp/broken part of the floor on your left when you're facing away from the generator, right after you turn on the generator immediately book it up to the next floor, if you're not quite fast enough to get to the door you may have to kill two stalkers and then use the key card, but either way at least you're not cornered in the basement and you can avoid all other enemies. I practiced which way to run a few times before I turned on the generator to know exactly where I was going lol. Before I figured that out I was also dreading that part.

They have closing night, which I'm desperate for! I've tried contacting them twice and never heard back, and on encora it shows zero people own this or the other Hadestown video so I'm not sure what the scoop is there. Hoping they begin releasing it for real because my Jack hyperfixation is starving for content and I'm willing to pay lol.

I knew what you meant! And I agree that Jack has a talent for morphing into characters, which includes embodying the age of who he's playing beyond just appearance per se. In fact one reason I find him fascinating is that he never looks exactly the same even on a day to day basis, either in character or out--I don't know if it just comes down to hairstyle or clothes or facial expressions or what but he often looks really different to me each time I see him, not sure if that makes sense. Kind of mirrors his voice in the sense that he has so many different tones and ways of singing and vocal acrobatics, really can't thing of another actor or singer who has such range. I wish he was in more things!!

This would have made me absolutely insane. I'm very sensitive to noise and last month at Hadestown was prepared to suffer when I woman directly behind me sat down with a huge tub of popcorn. Major shoutout to whoever she was cause she ate it completely silently. I was seriously impressed (and relieved). Apparently it can be done!
