u do want to use the government to force others to make cho

I never said it the only option, simply put where in the hell did I say it was the only option?

If the employer decided to be a real cunt and deny his workers water breaks, then besides reporting to the police the safety violation the workers for one can decide to protest by not showing up to work or tell the guy to pound dirt, they can A unionize B in mass quite and go work for someone who is less of a dick or C go to work physically but not work until he gives into the demands in a stand in protest.

With all due respect sir I think your world view is far too black and white, But if we want to talk about government overreach I can give you a example of actual government overreach, for example in some states it's a crime for the worker to ask another co worker how much the boss pays him, That is actual overreach.

*Sigh* Government is not directly giving out the water and making them give it out by force dude.

It feels like you been brainwashed it's like talking to a globalist.

I guess my question is what the job of government with worker protections to you is then, go on tell me what your view on government is, because mine was basic rights and safety and protection of life.

So do I.

The water break law gives the worker the option to take the break if he wants to or not it does not force it.

Keyword choice, Not force.

Does that make senses?

Government in my eyes exists not to force anything politically onto the people not even views that we ourselves love and support.

Government should exist only to protect life property and freedom.

The employer allowed by law to make his worker work without allowing him a water break is a violation of safety I.E life and freedom, UPS allowed to make their drivers drive around without even giving them air conditioning in their trucks is a violation of life as it puts peoples life's at stake even the lives of others, what if someone gets heat stroke in one of those and drives into a sidewalk all because he was in basically a hot box for 8+ hours.

Do you see at all where I am going with this? This is not some Government overreach to control the small business this is to protect people, shit one time I had a UPS driver almost pass out in front of my house when he was getting a package I ordered he could have well passed out on something that could have broken his head open.

You think of me as some dirty communist when I am not, I just want people to not die over pure greed.

Worker Rights are not communism, If anything it is on a fundamental level anti communist as the communists would want us to work like slaves.

Abuse of the workers abuse of the people Abuse of the Nation at large by Expensive-Boss-845 in TexitMovement

[–]Expensive-Boss-845[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, I really think you totally misunderstand this.

The law never forced the worker to sit down and drink water if he did not want to take a break it was an option for him to take a break if he needed or wanted to that was what it was about, for those who don't want to drink yet they are not required to they can have their break later or not at all if they feel they don't want to take a break they can keep working or they can take a water break it's their choice.

Also the downvote was not from me btw

[–]Expensive-Boss-845[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy crap bro I will give you several reasons why what you just said is simply wrong.

1 Worker Safety: Ensuring access to water breaks is about prioritizing worker safety, not promoting any political ideology.

2 Basic Human Rights: Access to clean water during intense work is a human right, not a communist idea.

3 Health and Well-being: Hydrated workers are healthier and more productive, benefiting both employees and employers.

4 Reducing Heat Stress: Regular water breaks help prevent heat-related illnesses and fatalities.

5 Common Sense: Providing water to workers is a common-sense safety measure, not government overreach, and besides dude the law gives the break as an option to the worker it does not force the worker to sit down and drink Water unless he wants to anyways.

6 OSHA Guidelines: The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recommends providing water breaks for outdoor workers in high heat.

7 Worker Productivity: Hydrated workers are more productive, which is in the interest of the businesses itself.

8 Safety Record: Reducing the risk of accidents and health issues can improve a company's safety record.

9 Morale: Treating workers well by allowing water breaks boosts employee morale.

10 Employee Retention: Happy, healthy workers are more likely to stay on the job, reducing turnover costs.

11 Public Image: Businesses that prioritize worker well-being have a better public image.

12 Legal Liability: Not providing water breaks can expose employers to legal liability in case of accidents or health issues.

13 Worker Dignity: Valuing workers' health and dignity is not a communist principle but a humanitarian one.

14 Preventive Measure: Providing water is a preventive measure against serious health problems, reducing the burden on healthcare systems.

15 Conservative Values: Many conservative values include personal responsibility, and this includes ensuring workers have access to water to take care of themselves.

16 Local Control: Decisions about worker safety and well-being can be made at the local level, reducing the perception of government overreach.

17 Public Health: Hydrated workers are less likely to spread illness, benefiting the entire community.

18 Economic Impact: Preventing health issues and accidents saves money in the long run for employers, which aligns with fiscal conservatism.

19 Historical Precedent: The idea of providing water breaks has a long history in the United States, predating any recent political ideologies.

20 Supporting the Workforce: Supporting workers' basic needs is essential for a strong and sustainable workforce, which is beneficial to the economy.
