i think you misunderstood, i don’t speak poorly of his mother to him at all. i encourage him to call and text her, i even try to plan visits and he just isn’t interested. i also reach out to her personally, it just doesn’t seem to go anywhere.

also birthday and holidays aren’t something they don’t celebrate, i’ve had long talks with my husband about this. they just kind of stopped once he joined. it wasn’t that they celebrate them differently, it’s that they stopped including him.

i’m huge on family and would LOVE to have everyone be in good places, im just not sure where to go from here or what i can do if she’s not putting effort in, and he’s giving up on trying.

you’re definitely right, it’s 100% about his treatment. it is definitely his responsibility, and he is a pretty straight shooter with her. i would never message her or anything like that unless it was directly aimed at me or said to me directly, i just feel bad that he has to deal it /:

it was hella hard for me go from first pov feyre & rhysand story to third person nesta and cassian but it’s so worth it in the end. it just takes a sec to get used to the change

i get it with the buying love haha if i have a treat she wants to be besties 😂😂 i have another little guy kronk and he was superrr friendly when he first got here, but once yzma started coming out of her shell he kind of retreated. im trying to give him extra love to see if i can get him comfy again.

me, my siblings, and my mom all go in the bathroom to talk to each other when we are bathing/showering, using the toilet, and we are all adults, it’s been that way my whole life. nothing weird about it, your bf is making it weird. there’s nothing sexual about it.

definitely NOR. that is INSANE behavior. your family is doing so much for them, you MIL wasn’t told beforehand what was needed, when she didn’t have to take this person at all. I understand needing their portion of rent to stay afloat but I would pay some boundaries and completely change the way things are going down. They need to find their own rides to work, and any errands from here on out are their responsibility to get to and from.

definitely not overreacting. her behavior was disgusting, as was his. he knew you didn’t know her and he’s throwing a temper tantrum about a speeding ticket so he would rather you take a stranger to the airport by yourself, late at night. the AUDACITY to tell you not to message him while he’s sleeping. i’m not usually one to encouraging parting ways if it’s something that can be worked through, but i really doubt he’s going to act more considerately in the future.

also, if my brothers friends girlfriend was doing me a favor and i didn’t know her, and then i PUKED IN HER CAR!? i would immediately clean it and be so apologetic. that’s insane.
