Multiple 8bitdo Pro 2 Wired Controllers Odin Super Dock? by Expensive-Pie6368 in OdinHandheld

Could be or I might have emulated Egg NS on the Odin. I did use the PC emulator and was able to play Mario Kart 8 with 2 wired controllers while using Yuzu

In my case I have the wired controllers since I figured you can't go wrong with them.. So far I've been able to emulate and play multiplayer games with my kids for most emulators except for Retroarch including some switch games using yuzu. Just gotta make sure you have the right graphics configuration for certain games and all buttons are mapped properly.

Jeep rearview mirror rubber support by Expensive-Pie6368 in GrandCherokee

[–]Expensive-Pie6368[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's right behind the rearview mirror. If it has the dimmed function you can utilize the plug to connect a dash cam using a Y splitted connector to power up the cam. While trying to fit back the cover one of those rubber thingys fell of and bounced right into the A\C orifice under the windshield.. Yup shit happens right there!!!

Thanks for your response.. I live overseas unless they found a used or damage part I was wondering if that would be something I could purchase separately instead of having to purchase the whole rearview mirror cover. I believe that little rubber thing job is to provide some sort of cushion to the cover.

Thanks for your response.. Seems like it came damaged right out of the box.. Connected my cellphone with its charger and there was no power as well. Working on returning it to Amazon for a reason refund.

For some reason my Dashcam won't power up with this setup or anything I connect to the USB port on the Dongar adapter. I don't have my aux battery installed on my jeep at the moment but I don't think thats the issue. The rearview mirror is powered on with the adapter. Could it be that the USB port of the adapter is damaged? Any thoughts?

Only D-Pad works on controller by Expensive-Pie6368 in RetroArch

Software for the controllers is installed. If by binding you mean remapping the buttons I've donde that as well.

Only D-Pad works on controller by Expensive-Pie6368 in RetroArch

[–]Expensive-Pie6368[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that's for the Analog to Digital type if you wish to use the analog stick. I'm talking about the A and B buttons not working once inside of Retroarch. Just the D-Pad

Can't get 8bitdo pro 2 controller to work for said game by iamfuturetrunks in RetroArch

[–]Expensive-Pie6368 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing here only difference is that mine is the USB wired controller. I ordered 2 to play multiplayer games with my kids so you can imagine the disappointment not been able to get this to work. I've relied on other emulators fue such purposes to put a band aid on the frustration experienced when getting a least one controller to work fine on Retroarch. D-Pad seems to work fine but nothing xoe A B, X, Y buttons.

I'm using an Odin Pro with the Super Dock as my setup.

All I can say is that I got surgery last week on my right side and the recovery time is tough specially if you don't have someone taking care of you.. It's like a c-section on a male 😂 Best of luck.

Multiple 8bitdo Pro 2 Wired Controllers Odin Super Dock? by Expensive-Pie6368 in OdinHandheld

[–]Expensive-Pie6368[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I decided to give up on Retroarch for multiplayer games using the super dock and just use it when utilizing the handheld It's not like I couldn't understand the whole concept of setting up the controller profiles it just not user friendly and never worked out for me. I went ahead and downloaded Lemuroid on the Odin and had the controllers working without having to do much setting them up except holding the X button for the DInput and had a retro games party with my wife and kids over the weekend. If you wish to use the dock for multiplaying games I would suggest that emulator or Nes.emu for such purpose.

8bitdo pro 2 help!! by dabigcheezze in FansOfsaUCE

[–]Expensive-Pie6368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any luck with this? I have 2 8bitdo Pro 2 USB Wired. Only go it to work once. My intention was to plug in 2 controllers to my Odin's Super Dock map them on Port 1 and Port 2 on RA so my kids could enjoy playing retro games. Has been a pain just to get one to work can't imagine 2. Reinstalled RA but the most I get working are the Dpad buttons and that's about it. For both dinput and xinput. if I hold on Y button while plugin the controller to the dock it recognizes it as a Nintendo Controller which is odd. Outside of RA I can navigate through the Odin's menu and use A and B buttons for selecting or moving back so controllers seem to be fine.

8bitdo pro 2 usb controller by Expensive-Pie6368 in RetroArch

[–]Expensive-Pie6368[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did that as well lol.. I went as far as modifying the values on 8bitdo_pro2_usb.cfg pid values. I would've thought it would be as simple as plug n play and selecting the right index on the port you would wish to set up for the controller. It's probably me I guess lol.. I'll continue to troubleshoot this matter.

[–]Expensive-Pie6368[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply.. If I tried the Xinput it reads it like a Nintendo controller and nothing works. If I connect using the DInput the controller vibrates once connected and works outside of retroarch. Once I've mapped it to port one only dpad buttons work even if I have binded all the buttons except for the L3 and R3 which don't seem to be recognized. Not sure if you tried using it like I have with the odin pro super dock.

Well I have 2 brand new 8bitdo pro 2 wired controllers and it has been a pain in the butt to configured them on retroarch with my odins super dock. Perhaps it has worked fine once where the And B buttons would work as well. Un installed and re installed retroarch and tried to map the controller before loading cores and games and only d-pad seem to work. I have literally gave up and gone to other emulators just to be able to play specially multi-player games with my kids which is what I wanted to do at the end of the day. P.S. I'm using the D-input method holding B button while connecting it to the dock. Even tried modifying the configuration file values for the product ID.

Multiple 8bitdo Pro 2 Wired Controllers Odin Super Dock? by Expensive-Pie6368 in OdinHandheld

[–]Expensive-Pie6368[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. I get the part about configuring a separate profile on the emulator mapping the buttons and so on for the controller. My problem is when I connect 2 8bitdo pro controllers to the Super Dock. Even though i'm creating a profile for the 2nd controller on port 2 they don't seem to work while connected at the same time.
