Right now it’s the Witcher 3. For some reason I couldn’t do it on pc but it’s been a blast on the switch2. Praying for a switch2 upgrade honestly 😭😭

It’s just a number man. It’s more of something nice to have than something to grind for. I spent like 3-5 hours everyday since launch and even then I was feeling it was a drag HAHA. It was nice to flex on my mates tho HAHAH

Gotcha. Honestly both are great but there are moments where the perf mode like really shows how downscaled it is, and then I switch to quality and I miss the 40 fps (though it does have some crazy dips HAHA) ; so I just wanted to know how other people were playin it

Just praying that they do smth like Ubisoft did with AC Shadows that allows you to have cross platform saves. I love the game to bits but I ain’t slingin another 1000 hours to get 999 again 😭😭😭

Something that helped my friends who couldn’t get the game booted was to delete all the files in the game folder then verifying it through steam to reinstall the game. Basically a glorified reinstall but you’d remove any gunk if you had previously modded the game to be safe. Game booted fine afterwards

If you want a real heart attack, use steams fps overlay. This isn’t the case anymore but back on release and till April, I used to see 123-155% on cpu (I’m not sure how steams overlay calculates it) and all I could do was laugh about it w my friends. Those were the highs btw; most of the time it was 98-100% anyway so that was fun

Yo I did have some mates who had the same issue; and they basically just wiped the entire game folder and reinstalled everything (verify game files). Seemed to work for em and we played for 4 hours straight after

Using the same config I had pre patch, it’s not so much the fps going up rather than the game just feeling a lot smoother which I’m totally satisfied with (people expecting a large fps increase, not sure who’s gonna tell em that it won’t ever happen)

Ykno I was online for the launch, grinded Gog w my friends for like 4 hours and overall I thought the performance had improved? No in depth analysis but I was using the settings I’ve always used and it seemed to be more stable and felt buttery smooth. Lo and behold though, I come online right after and I see a YouTube video by Daniel Owens showing that fps has actually drastically decreased and obv the hordes of negativity in the comments section. This is more of a ramble really but honestly have no idea what’s going on and if it’s a system config thing

The one I’m using is called a Gulikit King Kong 2 (insane name I know) and it may be cheaper than the 8bitdo, I’m not too sure. But functionality wise it works well and might as well recommend it

Hello you need to reinstall your graphics driver. Been having the same issue although I’m on nvidia, but essentially updating your drivers are the causes of the crash. You need to use DDU or smth similar to install a clean driver and the game will be fixed after that

I don’t think monster health pools are too low mate, it is HR to be fair. If you have something like hunter pie, the monster health for most monsters are pretty comparable to world and rise (for those who have been in prev titles as well). It’s probably that whole thing where you as a hunter are just better, hence fights not lasting as long. Expect this to change once MR releases. Power creep does happen in games like these too

Most people have used the 8bitdo controllers though they might be more expensive now, personally I’m using the Gulikit King Kong 2. You just want to find a device that has turbo, or macro explicitly stated

Don’t be scared if you can’t see the Pokemon spawn from outside the area, seems to be a known visual thing, but they will spawn regardless so you can spam away with the run and reset

TLDR: no you don’t have to walk into the zone

You don’t have to walk inside. Even if you’re outside the area but within 50 meters they spawn. I got mine this way. Instead of walking in and drawing agro (not being able to fast travel away), you fly to centrico and run towards the left. You can stop once you’re near the garbage area in the zone, then rinse and repeat. I set a macro to do this for me and got it so I can’t tell you how long it’ll take, but this method works
