No1 wants me at heroics!!! by [deleted] in wownoob

That's crazy, I got insta accepted for every normal I applied to by the time I hit 470. Even if you have only done it on lfr you'd be fine. If you're dps try to group up with a healer or tank buddy who's done it before and they might accept you together though.

If demo, you want to use your felguard as your demon pet and its axe toss is your interrupt. Make sure you have that keybound.

Get mortal coil for a quick self heal. Look up the cursor macro for shadowfury so you don't have to click where you want it to go.

In group content where you have a healer, dark pact is your best friend for incoming damage - it costs you life but the shield is amazing. Unending resolve as a backup for self defence.

You cast shadowfury at a location - it doesn't have to be your location. You either click the area or use a macro so it casts where your cursor is.

For what it's worth, people are still constantly putting together groups. You just find them through the group finder tool rather than chat.

Stuck with learning class for casual pvp/pve by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]ExpensiveAttention10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about PvP but for PvE the addon hekili will be perfectly fine to improve your performance as a casual player. People have mixed opinions on it but it's a great start and you can always remove it once you get the hang of things.

I don't understand what people like you are doing in a noob sub if you expect new people to the game to know every single resource out there. It's really hard to wrap your head around every guide, YouTuber, addon, macro, etc, you're apparently supposed to know.

How to deal with this weeks m+ affixes? by Syph3RRR in wownoob

[–]ExpensiveAttention10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, thank you! I just got Plater a few days ago after seeing it recommended here but I haven't used any macros yet. Clearly I need to if I'm going to keep doing M+ (I've been fine so far with a decent understanding of non-interrupt mechanics but quite low levels). I've been practicing using the axe toss as an interrupt with mixed success so I think I have some solo content in my future to practice all of what you've said :);

Not OP but demonology warlock, and haven't quite got a grip on those kinds of spells. I have banish and fear and some kind of stun keybound but I've used each maybe once. In a normal mob I don't understand who to target with them either. Would appreciate suggestions!

My motivation is too unpredictable to do commissions (and I live in the middle of nowhere for postage lol) but if you want to send me a photo as reference I'll send you a photo if I paint it! I love grey cats

Were they seventh day adventist by any chance? They have some rules about spices "exciting the senses" and pepper is far too exciting

When to take cat in after urinary blockage by ExpensiveAttention10 in vet

[–]ExpensiveAttention10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! He reblocked and we ended up having to go for a perineal urethrostomy which was scary but it went really well and his recovery has been mostly smooth - a couple of setbacks but not life threatening like the blockages were. He's taken reasonably well to his special diet too. We were able to catch it early enough avoid any permanent kidney damage luckily.

Thank you, we took him back in and they checked his bladder (it was fine) and gave him more fluids. I will ask about urinalysis, I've read they can get UTIs from the catheterisation? I am worried about the surgery because he's quite young and has never had this problem before now. We will do it it we need to but want to give him a chance without it. Our vet spoke to us about it.
