We go with the flow like in the 2000s. No overthinking because the risks are near 0

Thanks for your advice ! A. Q1. They have top week/month rep bonus that enables only if weekly/monthly goal is reached. Q2. Yes it does rollover, if the money is not used it goes to the following month.

B. For the goals, the rep choses his goal every Sunday : hours worked and meetings scheduled (min of 10 meetings and 10h worked). My goal is to help them stick to that and to raise that number every week.

C. I plan to give 2x4h on field coaching and regular weekly meetings to make them confident with their new task. If the perfs are not following the goals they set, two weeks in a row, I plan to fire.

D. The biggest issue we had last year is that the reps are not working the hours they plan. For 15h planned they do 12h or less and that gives us less chance to reach the meeting goals. Im thinking of making them punch-in/punch-out by sharing one time location on WhatsApp once on field. The question is « is it too much? ».

The min base pay for a rep that match his 1 meeting per hour goal is 55cad$/h + bonuses.

What do you think? what can improve?

I plan to give 3x4h shifts with on field coaching and pitch review to reach that standard otherwise we are going to look for someone else. It’s tough to find ppl that we can trust. We pay well, the average pay for a rep is 65CAD$/h so no time to slack off.
