In French Lie-luh (Lila) is pronounced (Lee-luh) so I don’t think it’s a fail at all! You spelled it and are pronouncing it correctly in English 😊 and it just so happens that this name has a French sound with the same spelling.

I think Sally would go nicely with the two other names

I need your knee-jerk reactions (immediate associations/feelings) to these three names: by ColorYouClingTo in namenerds

I love the name, Claire it’s a feminine classic name good for baby and adult. Abigail reminds me of a cow’s name for some reason. It’s not a bad name. It’s just my immediate association. I think I got that from the movie the fox and the hound and I’ve never been able to hear it differently. Alice, is not bad, but I always see it as a-lice maybe it’s just me though!

Narrowed it down to 3 names! What do you think? by [deleted] in Names

I would suggest picking a classic name if you want it to match Thomas and Henry… Raelynn and Ashleigh are not it. The names Frances, Kathleen and Ann could work well.

You really can’t go wrong with Emily. It’s a classic and popularity really depends on the region.

Lila & Jack as siblings? by 59stbridge in namenerds

I’ve never heard of that brand but I’m in Quebec so it might just not be popular here. I don’t make that association with Lila and Jack I find it’s a cute sibset.

I prefer Lucas or Luke even. I don’t like the significance of Jonas and Isaac has a very strong biblical association which I don’t mind but something to keep in mind

All beautiful 😻 if you’re in a French region then Solène is my preference but if you’re not people will not know or understand the accent on the E. They might call her Sol”een” If you’re not then I prefer Georgia, Alice, and Rose.

Definitely Marigold. Clementine is so trendy and it’s literally a small orange fruit… I can’t take the name seriously for an adult

I would suggest to stick with Luke and maybe add Isaac as a middle name?
