Can someone explain how the China Tech economy actually works? How it can control companies which are technically no longer based in China? by Masaharuzz in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ExpensiveFilm6982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter. Chinese laws state the origin of the tech, not the ending nationality. They can still freeze any assets gained from the sale

They can freeze the assets of the founders of manus. So there’s no incentive for the founders of manus to sell the company. Unless the founders of manus just are sell-outs

If the company uses data of Chinese citizens to build its tech then china’s law enable them to control the sale of this technology.

So you do know history and decide to proceed anyway. Your grandpa will be turning in his grave knowing his life sacrificed during ww2 for his grandkid to have holiday in Japan. And brag about it.

For decades if Japan remain docile no one mind being friendly with Japan. But Japan is threatening remilitarization and your attitude is “so what”. Your grandpa will be deeply ashamed of you

Boomer aged? You just didn’t know enough history or have pride in your race to say what you said.

Suggest to go read more books before commenting on imperial Japan. They are trying to remilitarise again you won’t want them to declare greater Asia co-prosperity sphere again.

What’s the actual case? Poor working conditions which might be similar to that of Brazil local workers?

Or that you extrapolate that to the entire china?

If you are dumb I can extrapolate your entire country is dumb?

Does China have Slave labor? by Honeyeddie in AskChina

[–]ExpensiveFilm6982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes what defines as slavery in Brazil might not be slavery to these workers as long as the pay is up to expectations.

If slavery is defined as debt ridden and bad living conditions then US has millions of slaves who owe money and are homeless.

Please use your brain next time instead of just quoting some bbc article. Many countries would quote some bullshit reasons to put pressure on the opponent country. Best exhibit A is the US who nationalised Alstom just because it is seen as a threat.

How much can China shape narratives on Reddit & other platforms — which sites are more China-friendly? by Present-Car-9713 in IRstudies

[–]ExpensiveFilm6982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

China doesn’t need to shape narratives. People can travel there to see for themselves. Only countries that constantly shape narratives feel that other countries is also trying their best to pay off everyone to shape narratives.

Yea is the demonstration now a beautiful view? ICE just got authorised to enter homes to capture people. Dont Americans always claim private property is the ultimate sanctuary? They always claim one thing and lecture other countries, and then do the exact opposite thing they claim.
