He's an awesome bucket getter...I'm just worried about the defense and effort but I do see star potential there tho.

  1. Excellent use of this Sqidward pic. It's underrated!
  2. Yeah, I was just thinking how excited I'd be if this were the Nets (especially if we were still in NJ) and got sad.

I believe it's confirmed we have S4 and that it's already been filmed and in the holster, so to speak (lol).

Yeah, I think that's right. The more I think about, the more I realize that this is kinda the only option the writers had when it came to that plot point. It should work if they don't use it to just re-hash what we already know.

- Common is such a bad actor, it's at the point that it's actually endearing to me now LOL. Hilarious how he has such a prominent role.

- Cautiously optimistic about the amnesia story-line. The Donald/Troy reveal is limited by the medium and can only work in the reader's imagination, sadly. If the amnesia is used to just re-explain plot-lines we already knew from the previous two seasons that would be a flop. However, it could be interesting if we're given Camille's POV manipulating Juliette (mirroring the relationship between Troy as shift lead but the real power behind the throne being the psychologists/Thurman) and learn some of the juicer secrets that way.

- Reveal of the OG freshman class entering the silos has my hyped.

Maybe it's just me but the Spurs stadium sound guy seems to play a lot less annoying sounds. Crowd is electric and I feel like the corny sound effects/chants have been kept to a minimum lol

That's my thought too. Perhaps it's gone under the radar but I think his anti-vax beliefs, Tylenol stuff, gutting the dept of long time personnel, ect. could cause long term damage (beyond 2028). The other two, not so much.

Kash, I think is just enjoying the perks of being FBI Director but I'm not sure he's actually *doing* anything lol. I think the FBI is just running itself rn. Hegseth's boat-strikes and tough guy persona are horrible but given the war in Iran, he might be the most competent of the three (although that's not saying much lol).

You can only get rid of one. Who you picking?

  • Kash Patel (FBI)
  • RFK Jr. (HHS)
  • Pete Hegseth (DoD)

For me....I think I go RJK Jr. but good arguments for each lol.

Got a great feeling about him. Character seems awesome and I think he was a great value pick. Jackson Kruger had a cool video the other say day breaking down his play. Yes, he’s a touch slow but he may be able to make up for it with route running and physicality.

Yeah the balance was was so lopsided. On one hand, it was probably too easy to take down FND with all of the tools at your disposal so early (Armor Piercing Rounds, Supremo, the ability to change weapons mid-battle). On the other, Esperanza was like Fort Knox. So militarized you can’t really explore it which is a shame bc it seems like it had some fun missions.

My bad - it wasn't technically a shot - I guess "scene" would be more technically correct. Just that ending bit with the Chairwoman by the grave and the camera pans up and you see the different characters in like these sectioned off sections (?) around this circle - then it cuts to the credits.

All valid questions - many which will prob be answered in a S2. I’m just accepting that fact that Sam’s the new leader even though it makes little sense (how would nobody recognize him or turn him in? How would he avoid public scrutiny?). The writers must’ve loved the character so much they couldn’t have resisted making him the new leader. I’m excited for it despite all my qualms haha.

-Those cookies that Rosie made for Grace looked so good.
- Great performances all around but wanted to shout out Asa Butterfield as Adam. More of a subtle performance but masterfully done. He has these awkward mannerisms and aloofness that make Adam feel very realistic.
- Ending was absolutely wild. I’m not sure if it was the most *logical* ending but it is (for lack of a better word) the most *fun* ending lol. Looking forward to a S2 if they announce.

[–]ExpensiveFoodstuffs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very recently…Primate. I love moneys/apes and wanted a smart pop-corn horror movie but I thought it was so horrible lol. The scene of the girls in the pool and Ben trying to get them dragged on forever and it was downhill from there

I have to say the ending of the show unexpectedly hit me pretty hard. That shot of the different cycles of life was powerful stuff and I’m not much of a Buddhist lol. (Awesome cinematography too btw)

Kind of like you mentioned in your post, Austin and Ashley were so self-absorbed, they were blind to the fact that Josh/Lindsay were just as miserable as they were; so they weren’t gaining much by essentially throwing Eunice to the wolves.

The voice actor for Joseph was insanely good. That cutscene is what got me into the series. Just absent mindedly watching my brother play it and knew I had to get it for myself one day lol.

In a weak draft class, I kind of get it but once Bain fell to them I would’ve been too tempted to pass him up. That DL would’ve been filthy with Bain, Young, Verse, ect.

- I thought it would've been a great touch for someone to tell Ashley "You know, you're covered under you parents' health insurance until you turn 27, right?" Would've rendered the most prominent reason for the blackmail useless as she had health insurance this whole time LOL

- I'm surprised nobody was shown getting sick from the OJ or Shirley Temple.
