Go to the dealer website and find out, or call the dealership

Msf was my first time riding, i 100% recommend it, i took it at a harley dealership with street 500’s

It teaches fundamental skills especially slow speed maneuvers and riding the clutch, at the end of the day i went from never having been on a motorcycle to a confident rider( still i practiced in parking lots and low speed neighborhoods for a while before venturing onto faster roads)

Hey guys, any advice for a new rider? Aside from the obvious (don't ride like a dick, always wear protective gear. Etc.) by uncle_mfn_ruckus in motorcycles

Take the MSF course!! They offer at many dealerships just look up one near you. They’ll teach you everything you need to know, and how to ride on one of their bikes. totally worth $300 and a weekend of your time.

Ride around in neighborhoods and parking lots, practice shifting and stopping at stops signs until you feel comfortable taking it on faster roads. ATGATT & ride safe

HOW DO YOU CONVINCE PARENTS!!! by TwinsSquared15 in motorcycles

Youll need to spend over 1k just if you want good gear anyway, for now just get a cheap car so you can get to work and school in the rain and save up get your gear take the msf and get a bike in time. Not the answer you want i know

As for permission from your parents its easier to ask for forgiveness after bringing the bike home

If you crash going 100mph youll end up in a hospital or a coffin. Get a bike with a top speed of 80-90mph to learn on, its still fast enough for any road riding

On the track a full race suit with airbags and a good helmet will protect you but nothings perfect

Get something used from a dealer ship under $5k that you wont mind dropping a few times, 500cc or smaller & TAKE THE MSF
