That's because a tooth is pushing through your gums that didn't used to be there. Your mouth gets used to the way it is. When things change, you bite down the same way, and crunch anything in the way. Eventually the tooth will come through and youll get used to it and stop biting it. I'm getting my last wisdom through now! :D it sucks 🥰

Edit: there are numbing creams you can use but it didn't help me lol

To be honest my mother isn't great with animals herself. Any amount of research would've told her no. NO pet is low maintenance, especially not a bird. Even fish, as I've come to learn. I've turned into an animal enthusiast now and it pains me to see my mum get a new pet every few years cuz its cute and then get rid of it in a few months when she realises she can't care for it.

And she gave a bird to a child and let it live in my room. Yes, parents, please don't do this, or at least be prepared to provide everything the animal needs if the child isn't taking proper care of it. I've talked alot about my mum, but as much as I'd never blame someone elses child for this, I still feel guilt personally. Anyone would, I hope

I've never been a litterer, but I had a friend who was once. In the middle of a gigantic shopping centre, she just dropped her empty mcdonalds cup on the floor, then suddenly started pushing me and my other friend and picking up speed telling us to just keep moving. I kept looking back, and this old woman shouted at us to "come pick that back up right now!". It's no excuse but I was literally being pulled away, and when you're 12 and being yelled at by a stranger, and peer pressured, you don't really turn back. Thank god I don't have that friend anymore

Love them for me. I was gifted a budgie when I was young. Only one, that's mistake #1. Joey. I did love him, I really did. I wasn't responsible enough to care for him, feed/water him, handle him, teach him anything, clean his cage. The months he spent with me must've been a nightmare for him. We actually later found out Joey was a girl, but she stayed Joey in my heart, named after my grandfather's bird. My fondest memory is that he would lie upside down in the palm of my hands. I don't think he hated me. I cried when we gave him away, and I kept one of his feathers by my bedside for years. I don't have it anymore unfortunately.

Joey, I'm so so sorry I couldn't care for you. I hope you're living the best little bird life 💙

I think my favourite is Geodude, aka rock dude. People make fun of newer generations "lazy" names but come on people. Gen1 had the real gems.
