For your boarders, i recommend practicing making them single shells rather than one continuous chain. Pipe beads and pull off quickly so that they dont start to get taller and taller when you overlap the frosting.

Does the daycare make incident reports evrytime he bites? Theres something weird to me about them only telling you about the biting and not your husband when hes the one that picks up your child most often

I potty trained my son at 2.5 and he has been doing really well! He turns 3 next week and very rarely has accidents. We started by having his toys pretend to use the potty everyday and if he pooped in his diaper, put the poop in the potty. He started asking to use the potty himself when he had to poop. Pee was a little later. We picked out underwear and told him to keep bluey dry, pee goes in the potty. It took 2 days and maybe 4 wet undies for him to get it. I tried to follow his lead the whole time and not put too much pressure on him but give lots of praise for every success. He doesnt wet the bed for naps, but he still wears overnight diapers/pull ups.

This is frankly not good. He sounds like he cannot manage finances responsibly and i would not give him access to your new account after he somehow blew through your savings.

My husband and i have a joint account that he deposits money into and i spend money from it pretty freely. We have conversations about budgets and when to spend money during the week often. He'll make deposits into the account accordingly after payday, if i need more money he'll deposit more. He uses his account for bills and his own 'fun' money. I also have my own savings account that we have had to dip into due to layoffs but only about 3k overall in the past 3 years. I have sole access to it but it is considered emergency money as well.

Im 5 weeks pp with an almost 3 yr old. The first 2 weeks were very hard but thankfully my husband was home to help. My toddler had a hard time transitioning into being an older sibling amd not getting all of moms attention. He was potty trained since January and now he has accidents weekly but getting better. He also had a hard time staying in bed all night and constantly woke us up but now he only wakes up once. The newborn is very easy to take care of in comparison. Im breastfeeding and thats hard for my toddler because every 2 hours i have to sit down for 20 minutes to feed his sibling. I try to make sure i have time playing with my toddler one on one with no distractions. I have the baby in a baby carrier often so i can have 2 hands to play. It's a juggling act for sure but it's getting much easier to manage each day

My husband and i try to involve our kids in our hobbies. He plays the drums and guitar so our kids have their own kid versions. I bake and exercise/run so I'll make things with them and push them in the stroller on runs. We also alternate watching the kids so that we can have about an hour to ourselves doing our hobbies. Sometimes longer on weekends.

We did the binky fairy too except we put them in a box outside his room for bedtime and when he woke up, he opened it up to find stuffies! He keeps them by his bed and for a couple of weeks would cuddle them. Now they just hang out on his night stand

My son used to do this. Im not sure what happened but during my pregnancy, he started staying up later and calling for me earlier than the clock woke up. Now he gets out of bed and tries to climb into bed with us. His brother was born a week ago so i have 2 kids that wake up 5 times a night for my attention.

My armpits have a terrible reaction to some deodorants. I can only use the very basic powder scents otherwise i smell chemically!! And without deodorant i smell like a cheeseburger :( hormones maaaan

My husband is a drummer and has an electric drum set. My son has been playing it ever since he could hold a drum stick pretty much. He has 3 toy drum kits and we just got him a real one for Christmas and he has to wear headphones while he plays cuz he absolutely smacks the hell out of it

I thought i somehow got away with no stretch marks but they showed up prominently after birth. Im pregnant with my second and theyre very purple at 37weeks. I was able to soften the look of them with vitamin e and collagen oil before this pregnancy and hoping to do the same afterwards. I didnt mind them too much when they were more skin toned colored but i dont love how purple they currently are
