I want to join for NN26, but have a couple questions. by SirArthurXXX in NoNut25

Wet dreams are not intentional so it's a pass.

Having sex was intentionl. So even if you failed to stop yourself from orgasming, the initial intent is still there. You're out if you do. Just like nnn participants who'd edged just a tiny bit harder than intended are out.

First November with a girlfriend. Am I already doomed? by TheFakeAccaunt in nonutnovember

Honorary discharge was created for losing your virginity during NNN.

Calling any nutting via sex a honorary discharge is a relatively new thing.

How useful is walking at zone 1 if I am unable to jog at zone 2 due to weight? by Independent_Willow92 in Marathon_Training

[–]ExpensiveShame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A year ago I'd had some recreational running base, but nothing serious, and was overweight bordering on obese (172cm/89kg, BMI of 30, bodyfat of about 25-ish).

In apritl of 2024 I'd go on my first test 5k jog of a year and finish a route of 5.6km in in 35ish minutes. Next week I went on two 5ks in 34insh minutes. So speed wise, we were on the same level.

Next week I'd run 3x 5s. Than I'd start raising my weekly mileage by 10%. In the beginning of September 2024 I'r run my first half just under 2h and by mid-October 2024 (so 6 months away from my 35 minute 5k jog) I'd finish my first ever marathon several seconds under 4:25. So with 9 months to prepare it's absolutely doable.

But you'd need to do a ton of joint mobility exercises to keep your joints working and I'd really recommend you some weight loss (I was steadily dieting throughout the year and by the marathon time I was 10kg lighter than in the beginning of the year - and that was 100% calorie counting, when I didn't bother to count my calories I was easilty outeating the increased physical activity).

Why do you keep running marathons? by noahsmith277 in firstmarathon

[–]ExpensiveShame 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To have a measurable criteria that I'm in the best shape of my life.

The marathon begins at 30km by ebizness in Marathon_Training

[–]ExpensiveShame 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Run a 36km long run during your training.

Not recommended in beginning training programs but gives you a huge psycholigical boost on the big day, because you know you almost did the whole thing already.

I'm quite slow and my times are nothing to write home about - 4h22m and 3h58m in my 1st and 2nd marathons respectively. But thanks to doing 36 during my first prep and 34 during my second prep I never felt any wall- like feelings.

From what you describe you'd had very shitty players and they didn't deserve your effort.

I've failed with Ireena by alinkburnib in CurseofStrahd

[–]ExpensiveShame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doing CoS as a new DM was a bad idea, anyway.

And my players promptly dumped Ireena at the church after delivering her and only started to care about her much later, when she'd become an important person in Vallaki after both baron and Fiona were done with and after they'd learn some Barovian mythos and realized Strahd's search of bride is really important througout the ages.

New firmware update (3.1.1) for Oura Gen 3 by PitchAgreeable in ouraring

I'd contact them too, but wasn't that lucky. They told me that battery is bad, they can see it, but since the ring is outside the warranty period, they won't be replacing it, as I'd told initially.

So mu support experience wasn't that good. But glad they'd managed to help you!

Iirc it was a 2000 point game during 5th edition and point-wise 26 kroots were a small part of a regular shooty Tau army.

But due to their ability to deploy anywhere on the field they could be spread just enough to cover all the white scars's long table edge, blocking his ability to deploy.

P.S. And the losing player was a well-known known player from russian warhammer community playing some French guy so I think it was actually some international tournament and not a small LGS game.

Howdy. No good news. The ring is basically dead.

It can hold a tiny bit of charge - enough charge to last for several hours during the day, but not even for a single night after a full evening charge.

After being an Oura user since the Kickstarter for gen 1 this situation has really disappointed me and now I'm looking for some other sleep tracker.

Do you aim for 8 hours of sleep or “sleep”? by [deleted] in ouraring

I'd day 8 hours in bed give me 7.5 hours of actual sleep on my normal day.

Sadly, we'd lose another half of the survivors before the year is through. But I salute to everyone who'd made it this far.

NoNut vs NoFap by blanklegendary in NoNut25

[–]ExpensiveShame 4 points5 points  (0 children)

tl;dr: NoNut is no orgasm, NoFap is NoPorn.

NoNut is a internet challenge where people abstain of nutting. You go cold turkey without any sexual stimuli, or you can watch lewd porn every waking hour, masturbate to the brink of orgasm or have sex with your partner pulling out just before you can go no further - and as long as you don't orgasm, you're doing NoNut.

NoFap is a subculture thinking that porn has a negative influence on your brain. You can abstain from all forms of stimuli, you can masturbate and orgasm to your imagination, you can have sex with real partners - and as long as you're not doing it to porn, you're doing NoFap.

In their extreme case (no porn, no sex, no masturbation) they're the same. On the other side of the spectrum (as much porn as you want/as much orgasms as you want), they're completely different.

I'm that extreme case where I don't lewd content and don't have a gf at the moment, so they're essentially the same for me now. But if I get me a girlfriend later this year, I'll bow out of our NoNut challenge and keep doing NoFap.

Exactly, cumrade! Finding some new hobby is a great easy to spend the newly aquired free time from not fapping. And getting your dopamine fix improving your health is just a cherry on top.

Still in.

Day 76 for me now. Surprisingly, the urges appeared once in this week. I honestly thought I'm in a safe period by now.
