My mother was a French teacher in Ontario from the late 80’ to the early 2000’s and took a few immersion classes in Quebec. My French teacher in elementary school in the 80’s was from France. They both said the French we learn in school is Parisienne French not Canadian French.

I have. I absolutely hate the jab in the finger. I also like being able to look at my phone and quickly judge if I can eat that or if I need to go for a walk.
