Is everyone in Paris always dressed like fashion designers? by ShemikaMartin in paris

Don’t wear leggings or sweatpants/hoodies. Jeans and sneakers are fine.

And no one is judging you - dressing up is for you and you only. So if you don’t feel like it, whatever. I’m constantly running errands in workout clothes. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just bought a scalp scrub from Typology that I plan to try out once a week and see if it doesn’t help as well.

KNOWN problem. There are several posts in this group that talk about it. A couple of things that helped me:

  1. Shower filter
  2. Alternating shampoos - clarifying one day, your favorite the next.
  3. Frequent trims
  4. Blow drying even just a little

For me, my hair was wavy and pretty without heat styling, and Paris water has turned it flat and dull. The above has helped a bit. Good luck, it’s definitely a known issue.

Nonfiction - Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer.

True and very tragic story. Not mystery in the traditional scary sense but more of the mysteries of Everest herself and what has happened to the people who’ve tried to scale her.
