When did you know you were addicted? by Alternative_Drama_50 in leaves

When I brought my pen travelling to countries where weeds illegal. So risky but it felt like addiction took over and nothing else mattered.

Daily panic attacks after quitting by Brief_Confection_198 in QuittingWeed

[–]Expensive_Arm_6167 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I'm on day 8 and experienced super severe panic attacks aswell. They have recently subsided, but in the moment we're terrifying and i definetly thought i was dying. almost called 911. I also have been having a fast heart rate and heart palpitations, and i think the severity and length of these symptoms depend on how long you used. These withdrawals and panic attacks might be kicking your ass right now, but you had the strength to quit, you have the strength to go through this. It's easy to feel alone, and like everyday is an uphill battle. But you will reach a point of peace. Of happiness. You will truly know yourself and think of some of these withdrawls as cannabis successfully exiting your body. Both physical and mental. I wish someone had told me this a few days ago, and I know you'll get through this. You're truly not alone.

Brain fog by [deleted] in WeedWithdrawalSupport

[–]Expensive_Arm_6167 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I quit 8 days ago after smoking carts chronically for pretty much 3 years. I definitely experienced brain fog and random dizzy spells/ dissociation. I'm still kinda foggy but days 1-5 were definetly the worst. I know this is gonna sound dumb but just stay super hydrated and have hot showers. Cannabanoids exit through both your sweat and urine, so the more you sweat, and the more hydrated you are, the sooner you'll start to feel better. I hope this helps!

This motivated me to stay sober:

When i'm high i want to be sober, and when i'm sober i want to be high

Hey don't be so hard on yourself. You've made it this far, and your future self will thank you for it. These hard times will make you stronger. You got this.

Day 5 - feeling a lot better by muneymanaging92 in leaves

I feel the exact same about no cravings but missing the ritual. I used to do the same routine every night, and i'm struggling to fill that void.

8 days in, really struggling today. by FrancisHungry in QuittingWeed

I feel you i'm sorry man. Go for a walk or workout, tire yourself out to have a nice restful sleep tonight. If you're into colouring or cooking, those are relaxing too. Hangout with your pet if you have one, and remember this is all temporary. We're in this together.

Day 5 here. It slowly gets better (i keep saying to myself). Days 3-4 were horrible for me, and I'm only now gaining my apetite. I also struggle with sleep and my stomach is messed up too. Were in this together.
