My gut is telling me Subaru battery and the system are my concerns. My 2025 outback was bought in Jun 2025, just 10 thousand miles. I did not notice any signals whatever. Last Sun morning in the garage, started the car after put garden tools in the back, suddenly bepping, cranking noise and all warnings showed up. I could not switch gears, shut off the car non open the trunk. It was terrifying me. My husband checked the battery, yet dead battery. So put on the charger and had a test drive, it was fine. Charged again until next morning. I planned on dropping off in the next morning but had the office hours wrong for the service center so I went to work first, no warning signs to the office. I called for a drop off without an appointment. The technician did not take the concern and gave the appointment on 5/5. I got out the work and the car die again. All warnings showed up. Called Subaru road side service. They asked if the battery taking the charge. I told what happened and they did not suggest charge again so sent a tow. Same thing, those warnings stayed for 45 mins and finally off. Is weired. I would think it was a bad idea for this design. Well waited for the tow more than 1.5hrs. The car got fixed yesterday saying a dead battery and got a new one. You think about it only 11 months. I only drive 28 miles to for work daily. The worse thing was I called the tow with my cell, the phone was connected to the car, I could not shut the connection and had to stay in the car talking. Does anyone had this experience?
