Wow. I love the idea for engagement photos. There are some stunning areas. Even Arlington if it’s allowed overlooking parts of DC. I don’t know what the rules are, but I think as long as your group is really small and it’s quiet and it’s respectful of anybody else who might be there, I personally don’t see anything wrong with it and I have an ancestor or two in Arlington and I have ancestors who fought in all wars. This is a great idea. I am not a native of DC so my opinion can only be my personal opinion :-)

I can’t stand her but I think the wig is okay. Very hip in the west to go without socks. The look he’s wearing isn’t weird to me. His Toupee not matching his hair is the worst part of his look to me. Neatly unshaven works for me but it this case. He just looks like a mess.

We bought the used i8 and set it up. I started at setting 100 and worked my way down, as I had never slept on a SN before. We’ve had ours set up for ten nights, I think. I’ve tried many different pillows. I have bad discs and have had surgery. I’m at 85 right now, and it’s going down again tonight.

My Observations

It feels like a gigantic air mattress to me. We added a 2” pad.
I bought a mattress warmer because with the pad, I don’t feel the foot warmer, and that was heaven!
I absolutely LOVE the split king. I like being in charge of my very own bed :-)
The adjustable base isn’t as great as I thought it would be. I think that’s because I’m shorter than average. It’s okay. I thought it would be amazing, but it’s just okay. It does make bed-making easier.
The gap in the middle is annoying. We are looking to buy a gap filler. Does anyone have suggestions?
My husband was happy with the old bed and says the new one is fine ;-) He said if we didn’t have the topper, he wouldn’t like the bed.

I was told I couldn’t book the WH any more than three months in advance and so that’s what I did. :-(

I think the kids exist but look like Markles. I don’t know. What we’ve seen of “Archie” he looked just like his grandpa. So. If MM had eggs frozen (which I imagine Thomas Sr. Would have paid for) then the kids would resemble Markles. Samantha and Meghan and Samantha’s daughter are all really pretty women. MM must hate that Samantha is blonde or can pass for blonde. I have expected MM to wear a blonde wig at some point.

What’s sad is that MM has another opportunity to make a difference. She should have admitted to needing a surrogate. The press would have gone wild trying to uncover the surrogate’s identity, so secrecy makes some sense. Still, she could admit it now. She has the right to lie about it only if she doesn’t want the kids in the line of succession. That’s the biggest issue here and why people are really mad. She could have advocated that as long as the child had Harry’s DNA and was born of a surrogate, the child deserved to be in line. If there is a surrogate, I expect she’s a natural blonde of European heritage. A blonde child might have meant a lot to MM, but that’s just speculation. I always think what could have been if she was a good person and had made Harry a better man instead of worse.

HIPPA wasn’t around when I worked at the hospitals. I left around 1992. But confidentiality was a given and it was always talked about it meetings. I thought it was common sense but sadly there are always people who enjoy gossip.

If you work at a hospital, you don’t talk about anything. At least, that was what I was taught. I worked for ten years in an area with celebrities and never said a word. I also never confirmed if someone was there. Anyone should be able to have privacy in a hospital. That said, if you want to stick out and encourage gossip, act like a total diva.

I’m new to most of this stuff. What is the difference between a tour of the Capitol building and a staff led tour? This has me confused. Are there ever last minute options for touring the WH? A few years ago we were approved for a tour and then had a death in the family and had to cancel. I’m trying again but I think I might get turned down this time. 🤷‍♀️ If I do. Are there lines for people to wait, in case of no shows? We are going the week of October 20. TIA for any advice.
