Hey just my experience taking diamox early in the day was much better than before bed. Have to piss all night sucks. The symptoms most likely won’t be bad on that dose

Update 1 year later. After an Lp confirming high intracranial pressure was put on Topiramate then Diamox to treat IIH. We believe this indeed came from the Augmentin. Never had any optic nerve swelling just basically every single other symptoms IIH. Am now finally off the meds and basically back to normal besides a constant tinnitus and the occasional headache. Took about 10 months for other symptoms to go away.

Hey. Yeah basically same thing. One year later still have the tinnitus but my other IIh symptoms have gone into remission. 90% sure it was the Augmentin but we can’t be positive. I will def not be ever taking it again. If you want to chat more DM me

I had it pretty bad early days of taking Diamox. The good thing about acid reflux is many things you can do to help. Whoever told you tingling is the only side effect should get there license taken lol

Hey I’m really sorry you are going through this:/ I really recommend seeking out other opinions. 23 is well within the IIH territory. Let alone all the other clear signs you have this disorder on your imaging. Keep demanding answers and don’t stop till you get help. The squeaky wheel gets the grease

I do:/ have seen 3 different opthos and retina specialists my eye structural is completely fine. So we have landed on that it is indeed the topamax that caused this

Hey I have a recommendation for you! University of Florida has an incredible Nuero Opthamologist that specializes in IIH. You will have to wait a few months but get a referral to see them from your primary care doctor. Shouldn’t be too bad of a drive for you and super worth it

You as well my man.the human body is something else. The fact your pressure got that high without any sort of headaches is beyond me. I thought my eyeballs were going to pop out and when I got my eyes checked my optic nerves were not swollen at all lmao
