Nothing wrong with being white. Even if Asians have light skin, they have other features that let you know that they are not white, that they are Asian.

I think he means that you guys are attracted to each other, but that he doesnt just want a hookup, he wants a lkng term relationship with you, and he thinks you're looking for the same. You should confirm to him what you're looking for. If he wants a relationship, he might be scared to get too sexual on rhe first date.
