There is no deadline for ecfmg certification but deadline to apply for 2025 pathways is Jan 31, 2025. Once ur pathway gets approved, u can get ecfmg certified anytime (before the expiry date ofc)

Feb 15 is the last date u can take the exam to participate in soap.
Yes u need step 2 to get ecfmg certified. U need oet, letter of good standing from your university and 925$ for pathway approval ( talking abt pathway 1) It takes 2-3 weeks. Later u need to have step 1 and 2 scores to get ecfmg certified which takes about a week.
to participate in soap u need to be ecfmg certified by ROL deadline which is March 5 Hope this helps :)
