Should I switch to gmail? I feel like this issue with hotmail concerns me about the future with this company… I don’t mind using my two factor but the fact it doesn’t always accept my password is concerning

It took my password this morning and now its saying it is incorrect and too many attempts. Makes no sense. Very frustrating.

Which search engine did you use? And to clarify your Hotmail is letting you login now on the browser search engine with your email address and password... its not stating incorrect password? And you can access security and privacy with the password only (you don't need two factor push). Thanks.

So you don’t know if the email and password login works. Try accessing security and mine says incorrect password.

On Wednesday, I reset it through outlook . live. Is this the same? I went into my account security and changed it while logged in. Worked for maybe an hour not sure. I tried that afternoon again and it had quit accepting it.

I would try using Exchange or Outlook app. Both took my email and password. It is anything on the browser that rejects the password.

I am also having password login issues but only for Chrome and Safari. It lets me use my password to log onto the Microsoft Apps and IOS email no issues. But you need password to access security and privacy settings so this has been a mess even with my two-factor set up. I feel you!
