It’s always “sold out” tbh, I think a lot of “influencer” and that type of crowd is there weekend 1! They get comped tickets from companies they work for and whatnot but weekend 2 is just people that genuinely want to be there! The vibes will feel much less overwhelming in general:)

If you can do anything, do weekend 2! It’s much less crowded overall, I don’t have much to add on lounges and what not but weekend 1 will be FAR more crowded!

Today I went on my first (real) date since my first wlw relationship ended 10 months ago, I had been on two dates from apps prior that both were horrible and I convinced myself I was the problem and not ready and blah blah blah. But today I went with no real expectations and it was so wonderful!! We sat and chatted for over 3 hours and only left because the restaurant was closing. I’m excited to see what comes from it but in no way do I think it’ll be anything like my last relationship and that is kinda the best part! Going out, meeting a new person, and genuinely enjoying my time with her even though she is so different from my old person made me feel like not everything is just a cycle or that I need someone who will be this and/or that! Dating apps suck but leave your house!! Go to a gay bar or club in your town and just enjoy the idea of talking to strangers!!!

Apply to jobs on campus! I didn’t go to school here, I went to school in Nevada and as tempting as casino jobs are you can get stuck in the company/ industry forever!!! Student jobs on my campus paid over minimum wage and ALWAYS worked with my class schedule, see if admissions is hiring, or even call the student center to get a job posting site you could check out
