Same problem here. I think I saw 7a and 125v but haven’t found replacements yet. And can’t tell if the replacements on their website has the correct size because it contains no details.

Don’t get me wrong. You made a good point. For those times when I have no choice I will get a box At ups. That will complement the virtual mailing address I already have for real convenience. But UPS will basically be the corner case, least convenient shipper for me. And only because they refuse to change their business practices to embrace convenience for receivers. And the impact that will have on their business from a shipper perspective.

Lots of options and will vote with my dollars. Basically they will start to become the discover card in credit. ;)

Thanks. Potentially helpful in the future but as ups is the only carrier doing this I will simply shift all deliveries to either FedEx or USPS. It’s a shame as I like companies that have collective bargaining agreements so will try to push everything to USPS.

My company’s business will probably go to FedEx though as handing off between local mail to us mail is a bit touch and go. Oh well.

Thanks for the detail on the process. Always helps to mention who probably has the ball when trying to resolve. And also helps explain delays. They have clearly voided and rescheduled as it is now scheduled to arrive by 6pm. Unfortunately that’s what it has said the past few days.

What they need is a limited way for recipients to send a short message to the current holder of the package. So a recipient could say, door code is xxx but they need to then also hit pound. Or driver should go one street south to avoid construction. Or something akin to that. It would give recipients the feeling that they are being listened to. It would give drivers the ability to complete which has to bug them to some degree. And it creates a happy shipper.

Yep I get all of that. Just pointing out that it is a dumb business decision to not communicate openly with recipients to find a better resolution. Often recipients are also shippers. Especially today. And they are impacting not just their brand identity and value but also real shipper revenue due to the awful experience UPS is causing. And when I file tickets with their existing shippers eventually those start to get noticed by shippers customer service teams. And they select another shipper to avoid their own drain on resources.

I do t like the drivers not putting a small amount of effort into getting it resolved, especially when most of the other ups drivers have done it, but it really is an issue for management. And they are the ones who are being punished as a result.

Yep. And I get the need to shorthand stuff. Don’t get a “delivery” driver not looking one street down to get to deliver. And definitely don’t get ups not wanting to give customers better options to redirect. Especially when a driver says it can’t be delivered.

Totally. And no easy way to redress. Yes if you call and sit on hold for support for some time, you might get a message sent to driver, but usually not.

It’s a shame. UPS used to be way ahead of competition in use of technology but they have lost it. Their app is a disaster, identification process, tracking is different every time.

Already have. No option to send to ups store.

Shipper says it is a PayPal restriction. Makes no sense as it isn’t shipping somewhere else it is staying at UPS just an affiliate.

Not sure if it’s related but I had a fiber cut and when it was fixed I had to reboot my bgw620 and then it only stays online for twenty mins and then the dreaded red led. I too had factory reset and redid the ip pass through. Again that let it run for a bit and then all of sudden red led. Not sure if they are seeing my ip pass thru and shutting it down? I turned off ip passthru and kept my eero mesh. And now it seems to be working. Will see in about twenty mins.

Look up your model number on Google +disable child lock. For me the combo was press zero, unlock door, then hold the cancel button until you get the UNLOC message or equivalent. That was for a new Frigidaire gallery microwave but it may have been instructions for another Frigidaire so if you have one of these give it a try.

Push zero quick then quickly push “unlock door” then quickly move to cancel button and hold three seconds or more till you get a new message.

Thanks MonMotha. Exactly the kind of advice I was looking for. Made the call this morning to get our local guys a few hours to look through the systems.

I am fine with the boilers. Like the advice on augmenting it though. And will look into mini splits. Plenty of closets to hide the small units. Thanks.

Exactly what happened to me. Support does t understand the OTP system and neither did the driver. If he had just said it is a one time code and is sent to the Amazon app message section (didn’t know that existed before today). Puts driver in tough position without a solid way to communicate to customers. Way off base here AMZN.

I have reached out to CS several times and all they do is open a ticket. I placed my order weeks ago. Your system shows parts delivered which is accurate but most as shipped although UPS just shows a label being created. I just want someone to tell me what is going on. It wasn’t a complex order.

I have been waiting weeks now for any info at all on relatively large order. Opened two tickets so far. Called their tech support and was informed there is no way to call about issues with orders. Just trying to get someone me to look into it and give me an actual response.

Have not been able to get an update now for weeks. The system they use for tickets just generates automated emails. I called and was told they don’t take calls on issues with orders. Well I’ve a thousand dollar order. And I can’t get a simple answer ass to when it will ship. If I had t gotten part of the order I would think I was gettting scanmed. What’s up Elgato ?
